Easy Strum - Nothing Else Matters
If you're like most people just starting out playing Guitar, You might find it hard to sing and play at the same time. Often times the best solution for this is to start out with an easier strumming version of the Song to practice singing along with.
I have been playing Guitar for 18 years, and I have had all the same problems everyone else runs into when playing Guitar. Its my Hobby and I love to share all the tips and tricks, I have picked up along the way. So with out wasting anymore time grab your guitar and pull up a seat.
Strumming Verse Section
The Verse section of this Song repeats 3 times, with a little variation on the last Chord played then it has a turn around section. In the following image you will see the 3 sections of the Verse with out the turn around.Under the Tab you will see D and U under Chords. This is to tell you to do a down Strum for the D and a up Strum for the U. as you get more familiar with the Rhythm you will develop your own strum pattern.
Verse section for nothing else matters
After the above Verse Section is played there's a little ending called a Turnaround in Blues music. Its kinda tricky to play and that is why I wanted to have it not included in the above Image.
Before Learning about anymore of the Song. it's a good Ideal just to practice the main Verse of the Song and once you get it under your Fingers, Start to play it while you count out loud. This will help you to Sing it, Once you can play it and talk at the same time then worry about singing it. This is the Secret to singing and playing at the same time, you have to make what you play second nature.
When your ready for the verse ending Section, Learn to play the Tab in the Image below and then you will know the full verse with the turnaround in it .
Verse Turnaround section
Now its time to Learn the Chorus to this Song. the Chords are C Major A Major D Major and E Minor, its very easy. Once again i have D U to indicate strumming Listen to the song to get a feel for how the Chorus goes. In my tab you will see x2 at the end of the first chorus part that means that part repeats two times and then you play the part that's under it.
