Reviews
"Be My Valentine, Charlie Brown is one of the best of the TV specials, featuring a strong storyline laced with lots of ironic comedy based around unfulfilled expectations. - Ricadus
"A worthy addition to the Peanuts pantheon of prime-time holiday specials. As with all of the best Peanuts videos, this one works on (at least) two levels: Plenty of kid-friendly humor and hijinx, as well as wry dialogue for the more sophisticated viewers." - D. Anderson
"It was like watching this classic for the first time, and seeing it in a remaster edition even better, never get tired of it- the Peanuts gang is always great to see over and over again." - J. Nira
"I remember how excited I was when this special 1st debuted in 1975. Funny and sad, this special got a lot of valentines sent Charles Schulz's way when it was 1st aired, all for Charlie Brown!" - W. Langan
"This installment of the "Peanuts" series centers all around the travails of love and rejection. - A Customer

How horrible is it that Charlie Brown doesn't receive a single, solitary Valentine's day Card?
I have to admit that I had not seen Be Mine, Charlie Brown since I was a child, if I did see it then. I watched it today and I was horrified to discover that Charlie Brown didn't receive a single solitary Valentine's Day card. I was incredulous. My lower jaw hung slack. How could this happen to anyone? How could this be the central part of a children's cartoon?
What do you think about Charlie Brown not receiving a single solitary Valentine's Day card?

The debate didn't seem to work for me... I was going to say that Charlie Brown was up to the challenge - "Maybe Chuck should take some Anthony Robbins confidence courses... but then we wouldn't have a story... "
