Why i love to listen Psytrance music | Goa mind storming

Binaural beats - known as brain entrainment

My everyday experience with music as a background for work may sound little euphoric about one genre of music. The genre is Goa, also you can see the music tagged into psychedelic trance.

Music that gives me a flow

Why the music is so important for somebody and why other one hates to listen any sound when (s)he works? This idiosyncratic experience wonders many people. Why somebody needs to listen music during trying to fall asleep and other needs a total silence?

My experience with work and music is simple. The less words i have to listen, the better for my focus. Because i have to multitask, the focus is essential to get something done. Goa helps my brain to focus on task whenever i have to make 10 things. This kind of music can hype the mind thgrough several hours.

Why the psytrance forces mind to activity?

Personally, i think that psytrance music has to do something with Schumann resonances (SR) , which are set of spectrum peaks in the extremely low frequency (ELF) portion of the Earth's electromagnetic field spectrum. Schumann resonances are global electromagnetic resonances.
Due to global experience of these resonances, many organisms on planet are controlled by these frequences in some neurobiological manner.

The 7.83 Hz. Schumann Resonance figure that many people hear about is a number made popular by researcher Robert Beck whose work on ELF signals, Earth resonances, and their effect on brain wave frequencies was presented at a U.S. Psychotronic conference and published in late 1970s. He reported that 7.83 Hz is a brainwave frequency often detected when psychics are in their intuiting mode.

Many goa music authors refferes to schumann frequency as an implication of their production.

Interestingly the Schumann resonance 7.83 Hz also corresponds to 117 BPM (beat per minute) that is the measure of tempo of music.

  • Pieces playing at 16th note intervals at this tempo, directly correspond to 7.83Hz
  • Music played with 16th note arpeggiated riffs at tempos up to 150 BPM fall within the alpha wave range.
  • Tribal communities experience "trance" (what a same?) during their music-backgrounded dances with same touches like meditation in alpha waves
  • Itis known and measured than monks in far East monasteries sing a Mantras - these "weird" sounds like "Hmmmmm.....Hmmmmmm" helps them to achieve alpha-waves state of mind.

It is quite interesting that many ancient ritual drumming patterns from African tribes correspond to this. So to do the more recent “trance” music genres of Goa trance and progressive trance made famous by DJ’s like Tiesto.

Everybody who is interested a little bit in human brain and meditation knows that alpha waves are the deepest one waves, where many people experienced collective consciousness and they travelled the universe without taking chem drugs or psychedelic breathing.

Also studies about ties of schumann frequency and Attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) has been released due to knowledge, that benefits for human well-being and relaxation from entraining with these natural rhythms (The Diamond Body, 1981).

When a person is deeply relaxed, slow rhythmic sine-wave patterns can be detected in both the EEG and the heart/aorta resonating oscillator in the 7-8 Hz range. Resonance occurs when the natural vibration frequency of a body is greatly amplified by vibrations at the same frequency from another body.

I talk about ADHD too because this "disease" of activity is frequently found in time of school, when the kids are "knocking their legs quickly" and due to this they are found hyperactive. But There is also a knowledge, that this "leg knocking on the floor, when the leg is in 90 degrees with Earth", helps organism to set up the Heart/Aort resonancy to Schumanns frequency.

Activity is not a disorder.

I have written an Article about Wireless Energy recent days, and ive touched a very interesting topic - HAARP - High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program which destroys a natural balance of Earth resonances. It is very dangerous and it makes a huge amounts of energy noise, which is researched for its health consequences. Why? Because HAARP creates unnormal quantities of energy which is not natural and it disbalances nature frequency.

People may consider to meditate, be good people and with good people, avoid negatives and listen nice music. Frequencies does have a huge effect on their general health.

thanks for a great hub.I will bookmark this hub so I can listen to it all the time especially while I am working.

Marc Hubs from United Kingdom on October 11, 2012:

Hmm this certainly is intriguing. Being a musician and also fascinated with the mind I'm going to have to do some research into it. It's true that music can be "brainwaved" which I've experimented with before.

somethgblue from Shelbyville, Tennessee on October 11, 2012:

perhaps something can be done in that area, I will ponder the idea . . .!

Jakub Dubec (author) from Europe on October 11, 2012:

Article is on the Way, but i will publish it at least 2 weeks later i bake it for better readiness :-) No, i unfortunately did not used to learn how to meditate in a how to say "typical" way.

Thank You very much for tip on Infinite Harmony, definitely i will go through to make not only this HUB better! :-) Or Maybe You can write a small review oO :-) It'll be my pleasure to backlink You.

somethgblue from Shelbyville, Tennessee on October 11, 2012:

I sincerely want to learn more about it and will look for more information on the subject . . . if you write it, I will read it.

Do you use the music in conjunction with your meditation?

The Infinite Harmony explores the laws of the Universe from a musical standpoint and much, much more . . .

Jakub Dubec (author) from Europe on October 11, 2012:

Hello somethgblue, thank you for constructive critics, i definitely will try to make the center point more clear. I haven't read this book, but what everything can be .. if ill find it somewhere :-) Pretty sure the article goes to many different directions, but this is also my goal - i will write more specific hubs on it, just like i do it with nonprofit articles. Start & Make it better in time, thanksfully to people like You :-)

somethgblue from Shelbyville, Tennessee on October 10, 2012:

Interesting and yet the article lacked a conclusion or point, if you made one I missed it.

You seem to link this music to a deep meditative trance and although I found it stimulating, I'm not convinced.

Had you tied all these interesting concepts together into one cohesive point I think you may have had an interesting article however it seemed to go in many directions at once with no main point.

Interesting links though . . . ?!

Have you read the censored book Infinite Harmony?

Jakub Dubec (author) from Europe on October 10, 2012:

Dear DREAM ON and not last other commenters and readers, The plants are, as like as human, water in some and probably major part. Everybody knows how flowers react to lack of water. As like As human. They Die.

I really have to persuade You to watch this document named memory of water, because here You can see this effects. Water reacts even to human words and it can be scientifically proven by changing structure of water. Just watch and think about it. If water changes its naturel, are people with 75% of water in body also changing, cell by cell?

Water is a phenomena with so many uknown answers. We can drink it, we can do a cold fusion from water ( ah so, these strongbox patents and billions of money spended on hot fusion/tokamak ), we can even try to store data in here. There are also old stories about water that can heal.

It may will sound crazy, but why don't try to tell "i love you water" before we drink it? If there is a scientifical proof of water reaction on energy, we may can became better and healthier by drinking good water.

Especially i have very good experience with water from one Hare-Krishna vegetarian restaurant in our capital. They know how to. It is a diametral difference, water from PET/pipes and this water.

Im am not hare-krishna or vegetarian. I am consumer. This is not advertisement. Water really tastes better when it comes up from earth, when is cleared and experience more natural interferences. Maybe the schumanns f.

Thank You!

I am so excited about your topic my ears startd ringing before I even played the music.I love learning about new wonders of the world. You have a fantastic hub with so much knowledge and insight.I am off to reread your hub again and this time listen to the music. You did such a great job to show other people how to listen and what we hear does make a difference.I recently read a story about putting plants near different types of music and how plants will die if they are subject to harmful noises and sounds.Where other plants grow well when exposed to beautiful sounds. Is that true? Then went on to say the effect of sound goes deep beyond what we know.Thanx so much for sharing.

Jamie Brock from Texas on October 03, 2012:

Interesting hub.. I have always loved Trance.. though I haven't listened to it in a while. I used to listen to this song called: A Huge Evergrowing Pulsating Brain that rules from the centre of the Ultraworld. I am a fan of the Shoegazing genre too.. Great stuff. Thank you for sharing this :)

Jakub Dubec (author) from Europe on October 02, 2012:

or Dubstep :D You are right, i sense it too, but not yet researched how. I will appreciate any info about it.

Doodlehead from Northern California on October 02, 2012:

What intriguing data. I will be re-reading this. The music was stimulating without being offensive.

I sense a Fibonacci connection here too among the frequencies.

Here's hoping this music will take the place of some modern rap stuff.
