I've been a fan of the "Dragonheart" franchise since the original film in 1996. I love how it mixes history and fantasy.

1. Bladerunner 2049

The sequel to the original Bladerunner, this film is set thirty years after the events of the first. It stars Ryan Gosling as a blade runner named K, who uncovers a secret that could plunge the already unstable world into chaos. In search of a former blade runner who has been missing for over three decades, K's journey takes him to some of the most visually stunning locations in the world.

2. The Revenant

A Leo special, inspired by true events, The Revenant follows the story of frontiersman Hugh Glass as he seeks revenge on those who left him for dead after a bear attack. The film was shot in natural light, which gives it an ethereal quality. Add to that some of the most beautiful landscapes you've ever seen, and you have a recipe for visual perfection.

3. Drive

Also known for its killer soundtrack, Drive is a noir crime drama that will keep you on the edge of your seat. It stars Ryan Gosling as a Hollywood stuntman who moonlights as a getaway driver. When he falls for his neighbor Irene, he finds himself caught up in a dangerous web of crime. The neon-lit night scenes are particularly beautiful.

4. The Lord of the Rings Series

The first instalment in the Lord of the Rings trilogy, this film follows a group of Hobbits as they journey to destroy the One Ring before Sauron can get his hands on it. The film is packed with stunning visuals, from the sweeping landscapes of New Zealand to the detailed sets and costumes.

5. Inception

Mind bending and visually stunning, Inception is a film that will stay with you long after the credits have rolled. Would advise missing out on the fourth instalment though.

7. The Dark Knight

The second instalment in Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy, this film sees the Caped Crusader go up against the Joker, played by the late Heath Ledger. The Joker is one of the most iconic villains in pop culture, and Ledger's performance is chilling. The Dark Knight is a visually stunning film, with some of the most impressive set pieces and effects you'll ever see.

8. Interstellar

If you love space? You're going to love it. That said, a lot of people were divided on this one, but I thought it was a visual feast. It's set in the future, where a group of astronauts travel through a wormhole in search of a new home for humanity. The film explores the themes of time, love, and sacrifice, and features some of the most beautiful images of space ever captured on film.

A psychological thriller starring Leonardo DiCaprio as a man who is investigating the disappearance of a patient from a psychiatric hospital. The film is dark, and often disturbing, but also incredibly well-made.

24. V for Vendetta

A political thriller starring Natalie Portman as a woman who is living in a dystopian future where a totalitarian government controls everything. She then meets a man known only as V, who helps her fight back against the government. The movie is stunning, and is sure to please fans of the comic book series.
