After 14 years of marriage and many infidelities on both sides, the two decided to part ways. Audrey then fell madly in love with William Holden. However, this relationship didn't last because Holden had a vasectomy and Audrey wanted kids. Hepburn married again to an Italian doctor, Andrea Dotti and settled in Rome, Italy.
