Personal Life, Marriages, and Children

Audrey Hepburn's first love was James Hansen. They were supposed to get married. Audrey even tried on several wedding dresses. However, she had her doubts and decided to part ways with James. She met Mel Ferrer and the two fell in love with each other instantly. Despite a few miscarriages in the beginning of the relationship, Audrey gave birth to her first son. After 14 years of marriage and many infidelities on both sides, the two decided to part ways. Audrey then fell madly in love with William Holden. However, this relationship didn't last because Holden had a vasectomy and Audrey wanted kids. Hepburn married again to an Italian doctor, Andrea Dotti and settled in Rome, Italy. This marriage didn't last. Dotti had lots of affairs and the couple announced their divorce in 1982. During her later years, she met the man of her dreams, Robert Wolders. Hard to believe right? Audrey Hepburn was an avid smoker during much of her lifetime. Started when she was only 15, her smoking habits would continue until her death. Did she smoke only a little bit? No, it was reported that Audrey would smoke 2 to 3 packs of cigarettes a day. That was definitely a chain smoker. What a shock?
