Top 10 Best One Punch Man Anime Quotes Featuring Saitama, Genos, Bang and More!

I'm an avid anime fan since my childhood. Here's my take on the Top 10 Best One Punch Man Anime Quotes

A Quick Overview About One Punch Man Anime

Who doesn't want to be a hero? At some point in our childhood, we aspire to be the savior. We firmly believe back then that having cool super powers and using them to defeat villains while gaining fame and glory in the process would feel really good. But as we grow up, we realize that super powers aren't real and having one would only result to a very complicated and lonely life.

It's different story in Saitama's world. He started out as a completely normal human. Yet everything changed after he barely saved a child from being devoured by a monster running amok. From that day on, he dedicated his life in becoming a hero who can defend the weak and exterminate any monster that threatens the world. He worked hard to the point of losing all his hair and it somehow paid off as he became ridiculously strong. His strength was such an abnormality that he is now getting bored of easily defeating even monsters that are supposed to be capable of leading humanity to the brink of extinction. What would you do if you end up being as powerful as Saitama? Would you get bored too? Be sure to share your ideas in the comment section below!

One Punch Man is a fun anime series due to the comic relief that the overpowered Saitama brings to the table. But despite being a simpleton, Saitama has a few epic moments where he shares inspiring quotes and words of wisdom. Other heroes and even villains in the anime series also throw cool ideas about life and justice every once in a while.

10. “I’ll leave tomorrow’s problems to tomorrow’s me.” -Saitama

Most of us worry too much about the future. What if I suddenly get ill a few days from now? How would I survive if the company I work closes? Am I emotionally ready if a person close to me leaves? These are just a few examples of unnecessary worries most of us deal with especially at times when we are alone and have nothing to do. Saitama, on the other hand, is different. He is a simpleton. He doesn’t worry about tomorrow’s problems as he lets the tomorrow’s version of himself handle them. This famous Saitama quote reminds us to have confidence in our ability to cope. We made it this far in life so no matter what kind of problem might encounter in the near future, it’s likely that we already have the skills and knowledge needed to overcome it. If we end up failing, we just have to move on and think of the whole experience as an opportunity to learn.

9. "This world is unfair. Justice and evil are decided by others. That’s how the world is." -Garou

Garou is a villain who seeks power more than anything else. He despises heroes because they claim to be true agents of justice. Unlike heroes, Garou believes that the world is unfair and it will remain that way no matter what we do. Heroes for him are nothing but fake and worthless individuals who are only making the situation worse by giving false hope to humanity. He aims to eradicate every hero while seeking for someone equally strong so he can finally enjoy himself in battle. Whether this quote of his is right or wrong, completely depends on your morals and your personal take about justice.

8. "You gotta train like hell until the point where your hair falls out. That’s the only way to become truly strong.” -Saitama

Strength requires hard work and patience. Some are born with talent but talent alone won’t be enough if you want to be the best. You have to invest a lot of time and effort in order to reach greater heights in anything you are most passionate about. Saitama worked so hard to be a hero to the point that all of his hair fell off. It may seem like ordinary training for some but it was hellish for him at that point in time. It’s still not clear how he managed to get absurdly strong by simply following a common training regiment, but one this is for sure; Saitama gave everything he got during his hero training and he is now reaping the benefits.

7. "I’m the only one left! It’s not about winning or losing! I just have to stand here and face you!" -Mumen Rider

What would you do if you clearly have no chance to win a fight? Would you back down and run? That’s an option if you’re alone but what if other people are depending on you? Is retreat still an option? The answer is no for Mumen Rider. He is a hero who is basically a normal human. He doesn’t have super strength, inhuman speed, nor powerful magic. What he does best is riding his bike and helping people and fighting monsters to his maximum ability. In most cases, his efforts fall short and he ends up being saved by more capable heroes. But is physical strength and ability to kill monsters the only measure of being a hero? Mumen Rider is not your typical hero because he embodies what most heroes stronger than him lack; courage. Despite being clearly outmatched by an opponent, he refuses to back down and would rather give up his life swinging than do nothing in the sidelines or run to save his own life. That is true courage.

6. "With or without heroes, all the surviving human will continue to survive on their own. With or without monsters, the weak will be weeded out. It's just nat

Is nature as cruel as how Suiryu sees it? Are we really on our own I surviving? Can’t the weak stand up on their own and strive to be better? This quote from Suiryu only shows that he has already given up on others. He believes that he can’t trust anyone including heroes to help him at times of trouble. Why would he if he can solve the problem on his own using his martial arts? He knows he is a couple of level ahead from normal human beings in terms of combat strength which is why he is confident to be alone and do whatever he wants.

5. "Using sheer numbers to compensate the lack in strength of each individual, that kind of wishful thinking will get one killed one day." -Genos

It’s not wise to choose quantity over quality. Having more allies by your side doesn’t necessarily equate to an advantage in a fight. Genos believes that having the ability to stand up on your own is also important. Relying on others too much to pull you up every time you’re in trouble will only leave you dependent and weak. Don’t get me wrong though, having allies is not a bad idea. Nevertheless, be sure you also spend some time in improving yourself so you can contribute to the group’s strength and help your friends at times of crisis.

4. "All I need is some fightin' spirit and it'll all work out." -Metal Bat

A true warrior only falls when he loses the will to fight. Metal Bat is a hero who gets stronger as his motivation to fight grows bigger. As long as he has a reason to fight, he will continue swinging his bat until his mission is done. We should all learn from Metal Bat and seek for inspiration. Whether it’s for work, a hobby, or a sport we are passionate about, having an inspiration is crucial to keep us going especially at times of failure.

3. “You do not need to know who the victor is within a battle using martial arts. That is the beauty of this art." -Bang(Silver Fang)

Are you a martial arts enthusiast? Ever since I was a kid, I wondered how it feels to know techniques that can knockout opponents in one blow. It would be really cool to use martial arts during a fight and impress everyone right? Not really. As I get older, I realize that strength comes with responsibility. You just can’t swing your fist towards people who you think deserve punishment because there are consequences to such action that you might regret in the near future. You should be responsible if you know martial arts and refrain from using it as much as possible. In the end, it’s a way of living and not a tool for violence.

2. “I’m not a hero because I want your approval. I do it because I want to!” -Saitama

A lot of us think too much about how other people see us. Does their opinion really matter? Why would you revolve your life around seeking for their approval? This quote from Saitama reminds us to do what makes us happy regardless of other’s opinions. As long as what you do won’t offend anyone, you’re always free to do it and be happy. Life is that simple. We are the ones who are making it complicated.

1. "Human beings are strong because we have the ability to change ourselves." -Saitama

The true strength of human beings is resilience. We simply don’t give up while facing adversity. If resisting seems impossible, we think of other ways around it. We can even evolve under pressure and change if necessary, for survival. Saitama is a good example of how human beings can be great if we simply put enough effort into it. We may not end up as strong as him, but by applying the same perseverance during his hero training, we can achieve the impossible and be anywhere we want to be.
