Tokyo Mew Mew New Is Here!

I'm an entrepreneur with a variety of interests that range from comics to anime.

It's Here!

It’s here, Tokyo Mew Mew New premiered on July 5(today as of writing this), and last month along with the second trailer we got further information about the casting. The antagonist alien trio Kish/Kishuu, Tart/Tarto, and Pie/Pai will be voiced by Nobuhiko Okamoto, Daiki Yamashita, and Yoichiro Umehara. Further casting includes Aina Suzuki and Iori Saeki as Miea Honjo and Mae Yanagida. Lastly Akira Ishida voices Minto’s brother, Ouji Aizawa.

Tokyo Mew Mew is being broadcast on TV Tokyo, and will be broadcast on BS TV Tokyo starting July 6th. Despite this, there’s no news on what streaming Tokyo Mew Mew will be available on for us western viewers.

The Premise...

Reminder, the premise is as follows: After a trip to an endangered species exhibit with her crush, Ichigo Momomiya and four other girls are bathed in a strange light during an earthquake. From there they’re recruited Mew Mew Project to defend the world against the adversarial alien trio Quiche, Pie, and Tart.

The Conclusion...

In conclusion, I’ll be looking to watch this Tokyo Mew Mew reboot. That will be after I finish the original anime, so I can spot the differences. Aside from that, I’ll keep an eye out for news on which streaming service will distribute Tokyo Mew Mew New.
