Phyllis has her motives questioned

After months of not being certain of what they wanted Phack decided to keep their relationship in the friend zone.Things changed after Terriah's wedding and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman ) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) took things to the next level. On Thursday's episode of The Young and the Restless, the duo was at Society basking in the afterglow of their night together. In a recent survey by, 68% of respondents said they believe this couple belongs together. The chemistry between them is strong and they both seemed very happy but do they really have a chance at long-term happiness? Executive producer Josh Griffith has teased that both Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and his dad will soften towards Diane Jenkins ( Cynthia Walters) who picked up on the vibe between Jack and Phyllis. She said her rival's timing was interesting and that Phyllis seemed to be marking her territory. There are Y&R fans who are also wondering about the timing. Did Phack simply get caught up in the moment because of the wedding and Jack catching the bouquet or did Phyllis leave her hotel room door open because she wanted to stake her claim?

Diane has a plan

Those who watch The Young and the Restless overwhelmingly believe that Diane has an ulterior motive and has her sight set on Jack. She has probably figured out that he slept with Phyllis and is jealous. Decades ago Diane was living in the Abbott pool house and trying to seduce Jack when Phylis came outside naked. She watched as Jack went into the house with her rival with love on his mind. Diane is falling into the same pattern and will probably step up her efforts to keep Phyllis and Jack apart. She is trying to remain low-key because of Kyle but how long will this last? If spoilers are correct and Jack softens a bit towards his son’s mother she will milk it for all it’s worth. Give Diane an inch and she will take a mile. In the meantime, Phyllis will flaunt her upgraded status with Jack in Diane’s face and he wi probably wonder what is real and what is to make Diane jealous. Kyle’s confused feelings along with Summer’s doubts will make the situation worse. Summer says he will back her husband but if their mothers begin sparing it might cause tension between the couple. Diane could in time antagonize Summer the same way Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) pushed her daughter-in-law Steffy Forrester ( Jackie Wood) on sister soap The Bold and the Beautiful. Whatever Diane's master plan is it will be revealed in time.

Looks can be deceiving

Right now Phyllis believes the ball is in her court and Jack is on her side regarding Diane. She is hoping Kyle will kick his mother to the curb and she wi quickly leave Genoa City. Phyllis void use do hard that Diane uses it again her and make it ok as though Dummer and her mom are plotting against her. Both ofJack’s exes are conniving and vengeful and their claws are going to eventually come out. Jack, Kyle and Summer will find themselves at the mercy of these two wildcats and all of their lives will be affected. Phyllis will continue to turn on the charm and turn up the heat in the bedroom. Meanwhile Diane will be trying to move the redhead out of the way and get herself into Jack’s bed. Phyllis throwing a glass of water in Sally Spectra's face will be a small incident compared to what is coming where Diane is concerned. These two have not mellowed with age so Y&R fans should expect the unexpected. Be on the lookout for updates that reveal what will happen along the way. Diane has no intention of leaving Genoa City which is not big enough for her and her sworn enemy. Spoilers for The Young and the Restless are teasing that fireworks are coming so stay tuned. Phyllis may have marked her territory but Diane will definitely strike back.
