Grammy Nominated "Fourplay's" Performance was Outstanding
Fourplay played the heck out of their instruments during a performance at Boscov's Berks Jazz Fest. This #Grammy nominated contemporary American #smooth jazz quartet, artistically motivates jazz perfection through a variety of instruments. A multi-talented jazz group which consists of Chuck Loeb on lead guitar, who engrossed himself into his instrument as Loeb stimulated audience members to lively applauds. Chuck, slowly strolled over to Bob James, on keyboards as he harmoniously blended tunes from their third gold album Elixir, which reached #1.
Nathan East, masterfully strummed his bass as he performed some of their major hits such as #Fourplay which sold over a million copies when released in 1991 as the group's first record. Drummer Harvey Mason enticed the audience with his variety of systematic beats that pulsated the heart. Their albums such as Between the Sheets was #1, as well as their most recent album release Esprit de Four. This artistic and commercial oriented jazz quartet continues to consistently maintain "success by grafting elements of #R&B and pop to jazz, appealing to a broad mainstream audience," expressed Wikkepedia.
A Jazz Quartet With Massive Appeal
During a previous interview in Union Chapel, London, United Kingdom this comment was made, "In a span of over twenty years and 13 albums, the quartet has continued to explore the infinite possibilities of jazz, while appealing to an expansive audience base."
The cool, talented and whimsical Nathan East, has been with Fourplay for more than 26 years which he stated during their performance, "Don't you think we need to get down." Immediately, after those words, Bob James on keyboards, Chuck Loeb on guitar and Harvey Mason on drums joined in this enthralling series of joy mingled with pure talent. Outstanding jazz that compelled audience members to clap and rhythmically bounce their head back and forth as their feet worked systematically with the music. It was a compelling night of genuine jazz and amazing music.

An Interview with a Dedicated Fan
A dedicated fan of Fourplay, Sharon Elwell gave this interview after the performance, "I have been a follower of them for years. I started being interested in jazz when I was a teenager. I was a professional classical singer about 20 years ago." Sharon, went on to explain how jazz begins to appeal to her, "It is fun, very simple and complex, it is a high level of creativity." Sharon Elwell served as a pianist where she enjoyed interacting with the audience. She enjoyed seeing the same type of interaction that Fourplay, demonstrates where "they are so equally talented that they use instruments so well to express sheer joy."
