The Most Beautiful Women Over 40 - Part 4 - With Stacey Dash, Elisabeth Shue, Julianna Margulies, Lynda Carter and more
Here is my fourth article in my series about the most beautiful women in the entertainment industry that are over forty years of age.
This time we have a literal soap opera family reunion, so if you are a daytime drama fan (specifically All My Children), stay tuned.....
Film and television actress Stacey Dash was born on January 20th, 1966 in The Bronx, New York, U.S.
She made her acting debut in the 1982 NBC TV Movie Farrell for the People (starring Valerie Harper and Ed O'Neill).
Stacey has appeared in over twenty six films, but most people remember her best as Dionne Davenport in Clueless (1995).
And for her political views....
Elisabeth Shue was born on October 6th, 1963 in Wilmington, Delaware.
She made her acting debut in the original Karate Kid in 1984 as Ali Mills.
Elisabeth has appeared in over forty films like Cocktail, Back to the Future Part II and Back to the Future Part III and Leaving Las Vegas, but my favorite film she starred in was Adventures in Babysitting.
Another star from Cocktail, Gina Gershon was born on June 10th, 1962 in Los Angeles, California.
Gina made her acting debut in Pretty in Pink (1986) and has appeared in over eighty films including Cocktail (1988), Showgirls (1995), Bound (1995), Face/Off (1997).
She was romantically linked with former President Bill Clinton in a 2008 Vanity Fair article (she said it was a lie), she was in The Cars 1984 video Hello Again, she played Jew's harp on "I Can't Decide" by the Scissor Sisters (which I love), and along with Jennifer Tilly and Angelina Jolie, she possesses that certain "something" that I can't explain, you just have to be born with it.
Lauren Holly was born October 28th, 1963 in Bristol, Pennsylvania.
I joke with people saying that Lauren Holly is Christina Hendricks 1.0.
Anyway, Lauren has been in a lot of stuff you may have seen including All My Children (as Julie Chandler 1986–1989), Mary Swanson in Dumb & Dumber (1994) and Deputy Sheriff Maxine Stewart in the excellent TV series, Picket Fences.
Lauren was also married to Jim Carrey for less than a year.
Actress Julianna Margulies was born on June 8th, 1966 in Spring Valley, New York, U.S.
She made her acting debut in the 1993 Steven Segal film, Out for Justice, but she's probably best known as Nurse Carol Hathaway on the NBC television series ER.
Julianna is currently starring in the CBS series The Good Wife, where is is already picking up a lot of praise for her role as Alicia Florrick.
Lynda Jean Carter was born on July 24th, 1951 in Phoenix, Arizona.
Yes she's an actress, singer and former Miss World USA (1972) but to a lot of us she is and will always be Wonder Woman.
I mean c'mon. when someone puts a superhero costume on we have to believe they are that character.
When Lynda Carter first showed up in those satin tights....Boom we were there!
She had the body (38-26-38 at the time of the Miss World USA pageant), the grace and in the first season of the show at least, an almost child-like wonder at the modern world around her.
This Princess Diana questioned why people treated each other they way they did and why war was more acceptable than talking.
But she had no trouble taking out the bad guys when they didn't listen.
The beautiful Catherine Willows from the CBS drama CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Marg Helgenberger, was born on November 16th, 1958 in Fremont, Nebraska.
Like Lauren Holly, she started out on an ABC soap, Ryan's Hope (1975) as Siobhan Ryan Novak.
Even though she has appeared in almost sixty TV series and movies, she's best known for her role on the original CSI series.
After William Petersen (Gil Grissom) left the show, Marg stepped into the lead and is now one of the highest paid actresses on TV.
Turning this into a real soap opera/CSI party, we have Eva LaRue.
Eva was born on December 27th, 1966 in Long Beach, California, and I think she is one of the most beautiful women on TV, over forty or not.
You may remember Eva as Dr. Maria Santos Grey on the ABC soap All My Children.
She played Maria from 1993 to 1997 and then 2002 to 2005.
In 2005, she left AMC and began the role of Natalia Boa Vista on CSI: Miami.
Eva is one of those people it's great to play "Six Degrees of Separation" with.
She is the third cousin of Jane Fonda (she said in an interview that Jane was "my grandmother’s sister’s daughter’s daughter. My great aunt’s daughters daughter."), she's the godmother of Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos' son Michael Joseph (Mark and Kelly were both on AMC) and Sarah Michelle Gellar (Sarah was also on AMC) is the godmother of her daughter Kaya.
And here we go back to soaps and CSI.
Melina Kanakaredes was born on April 23rd, 1967 in Akron, Ohio.
She made her television acting debut on the CBS soap Guiding Light, as Eleni Andros Spaulding Cooper from 1991 to 1995.
Melina then moved on to the NBC TV drama Providence that ran from 1999 to 2002.
After Providence went off the air, she took the role of Det. Stella Bonasera, Mac Taylor's second-in-command on the CBS television show CSI: New York.
Dannii Minogue was born on October 20th,1971 in Melbourne, Australia.
She is a singer, songwriter, actress, fashion designer and the sister of Kylie Minogue.

You have once again picked some beautiful women. I agree with Mike Lickteig, Stacey Dash looks incredibly young.

Not as familiar with the soap stars, but these are some beautiful ladies. I can't believe Stacey Dash is over 40!!! Elisabeth Shue is so talented, it's hard to believe the same person played in both the Karate Kid and Leaving Las Vegas.
Nice list, as always. Thanks.
