Following the passing of King T'Challa, the Wakandan authorities strive to preserve their country in the movie.

Queen Ramonda (Angela Bassett), Shuri (Letitia Wright), M'Baku (Winston Duke), Okoye (Danai Gurira), and the Dora Milaje (featuring Florence Kasumba) battle to defend their country from interfering foreign powers. The heroes must unite with the aid of War Dog Nakia (Lupita Nyong'o) and Everett Ross (Martin Freeman) in order to establish a new path for the kingdom of Wakanda as the Wakandans attempt to embrace their next chapter.

The opening scene of the Black Panther (2022) is the prayer of Shuri to the cat goddess, Bast (Bastet). Shuri, the sister of T'Challa, the king of Wakanda, believes that the "heart-shaped plant" might heal the disease that is killing the monarch. After Killmonger destroyed the herb, Shuri makes an unsuccessful attempt to synthetically replicate it before he expires.

In the emotional climax of this Marvel sequel, the new Black Panther engages in combat with the new bad guy, Namor. As she presses a spear to Namor's throat, Shuri finds herself reflecting on the events of the past as Namor appears to have been defeated.

Towards the end of the movie, M'Baku pushes up to contend for the crown in Shuri's absence. In accordance with Ramonda's instructions, Shuri burns her traditional funeral gown while visiting Nakia in Haiti, allowing herself to finally grieve T'Challa.

In a scene towards the middle of the credits, Shuri finds out that Nakia and T'Challa had a son together, Toussaint, whom Nakia has been raising covertly away from the demands of the monarchy. T'Challa is revealed by Toussaint to be his Wakandan name.

After watching the film, the audience is left with a plethora of questions, such as whether Shuri still acts as Black Panther or if she has abandoned her proper position as a princess. Is Nakia compelled to carry about her terrible secret? Will Riri prepare for the Ironheart series' debut? Will Namor wait and observe below the surface? etc.

As a result, the end of this movie does not appear to rule out a sequel or even a third Black Panther movie.

Black Panther Wakanda Forever 2022: its socio-cultural, psychological and political impacts

The Black Panther: Wakanda Forever has brought up a number of socio-cultural, psychological, and political issues that affect marginalised groups worldwide, particularly the Black community. Here is a brief summary of some of these important issues.

The latest Marvel movie explores themes beyond the path of a superhero. It talked about black culture. It’s revolutionary celebration of black culture. The film features an all-star cast that is predominantly made up of people of colour. Within the lush borders of the imaginary African nation of Wakanda, it acknowledges and praises everything from traditional African civilization to African-American political disputes, from the strength and beauty of black women to the preservation of identity.

The cultural impact of Black Panther may be more significant than its contributions to the movie world. Black viewers in particular have discovered a cultural sanctuary in Wakanda, which offers much to marvel at for viewers from all backgrounds and feels unlike anything we've ever seen.

In American culture, Africa has typically been represented as primitive, chaotic, and backward in everything as evident from news reports to the majority of movies. Since there hasn't been much possibility for alternative interpretations, Black Panther's depiction of Wakanda as a bustling metropolis with futuristic buildings powered by vibranium, speeding trains, and soaring spaceships feels so unique.

The film makes use of a team of designers and stylists to emphasize a distinctive, gorgeous black hair style, which was done in the context of a larger black cultural movement. That is made clearer by the various styles of hairs portrayed in the film.

Black Panther's costumes also provided an opportunity to add significance and pride to the movie. The outfits, like Wakanda itself, were to reflect a land and people who had "never been colonised, one that looked toward the future but was founded on a true past".

Marvel's superheroes have always been involved in politics. That is also true in the case of the Black Panther. The film Black Panther has become a cultural sensation, inspiring such themes as voter registration drives to curricula that encourages teachers to use the movie to teach more in-depth histories about African culture, politics, and history.

In order to create a compelling case against colonialism, the movie leans on both the mythos of real-life revolutions and comic book superheroes. Chadwick Boseman's death, a tragic real-life event that makes the blockbuster action flick the most depressing Marvel film yet, serves as the movie's core topic of grief. Grief, as Wakanda Forever's core theme, makes it distinct from other Marvel films. The ache that seems like it will never go away and the cloud that appears cannot be avoided. It must confront it squarely.

The stages of denial, mourning, and memorialization all come to life in ascendantly gorgeous ways in the Black Panther sequel. However, a different, generational-spanning collective grieving stands right next to the spectrum of mourning.

Societies that experienced colonisation have experienced a particular type of loss. The eerie echoes of forebears who were unable to fully fulfill their lives .The battle to preserve key elements of a cultural history. The crippling worry that results from a culture's constant concern about when and how conquerors will arrive. These emotions are also present in Wakanda Forever, fueling the struggle between the two main geopolitical factions in the movie.

It is exactly what it has always looked like—strong, compassionate Black women who are mothers, sisters, and friends—using their sadness rather than letting it use them—that is so brilliantly manifested in the movie. The survivor group fights and survives. It's a well-known story that, sadly, is all too real. Undoubtedly, you've heard of it before ; but its importance is never diminishing.

The best and worst parts of Black Panther : Wakanda Forever 2022

The movie received positive reviews from critics, who praised director Ryan Coogler, the action sequences, production and costume design, and the cast's performances, especially those of Wright, Gurira, Huerta, and Bassett. Positive reviews have also been given to the film's tribute to Boseman, its emotional impact, and its musical score.

Angela Bassett, Letitia Wright, Danai Gurira, and Lupita Nyong'o all leave a lasting impression in their key roles. Tenoch Huerta will portray an unintended powerful foe. The music from Rihanna's "Lift Me Up" is featured on the soundtrack for the Black Panther movies, which is still outstanding.

However, some viewers had issues with the storyline and length. In some places, the length of the movie is apparent. It takes too long. Without the Talokan backstory, the Black Panthers might have been shortened. Perhaps there was no need for the car chase scene.
