There's nothing on here about Bad Brains or The Sonics...which are two major influences for Date Rape (The Sonics) and everything else, (Bad Brains).
Ian on October 11, 2017:
Also Seed should have Lori Meyers by NOFX, it's lyrics and melody are heavily borrowed from it.

That's why Bradley said .. He was the boss dj... And he was....I'm a huge reagge head and I LOVE! How he put this albums together he was a genius in his own way..I have a lot of this reagge albums and never taugth someone would put a new cool
Twist to them. A lot of people never heard this artists ..so Paul I think if you sat around and did drugs you still COULNT come up with something like this ..or if you didn't do drugs .. You still COULNT come up with this ... Sublime true talent ... And def. ahead of there time........

I don't get why people who don't like Bradley would be on site about him. You must be real sad people. Come to a place that wants to pay their respect and

Any "man" that chooses drugs over his children deserves no respect.
But, because we live in the American Idol society and place singers and actors on pedestals, "Guy" and some of the other commenters think he is deserving of something special.
He sat around did drugs and wrote songs about them.
I heard more lyrics about his van and his dog than I did his child.
The man was a disgrace and it's a good thing he's no long an influence on the boy.

Awesome man! This just gives me more respect towards Mr. Nowell. Miss that guy!

I still regret the day Bradley succumbed to drugs. I'm a big fan of the band, their music and the man himself. His spirit will always live on with the lyrics that we hear and sing in his songs.

This hub is ABSOLUTELY my favorite one I have ever read. I knew some of the songs were covered, being a longtime fan... but I had NO IDEA some of the stuff, you 100% did your homework on this one, and your love of music shows in your work! I dig how much you love reggae music!
If the rest of your hubs put as much enthusiasm as you have put into this one, I am for sure a follower!
donnaleemason from North Dakota, USA on November 02, 2010:
What always comes across DJ is how much you love music.
Rock on!
