Finn is most sincerely dead

The rumor mill for The Bold and the Beautiful has been saying that John Finnegan (Tyler Novlan) is still alive since the moment he was shot. Spoilers continue to suggest that his mother Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) has taken his body somewhere and he will be restored and return to Steffy Finnegan (Jackie Wood). Anything is possible on the soaps but for now, Finn is long gone. He is not just merely dead but really most sincerely dead.Consider the words of Novlan himself during an interview.“I was pretty surprised. But that’s the nature of soap opera. Anything can happen at any time, and that’s ultimately what keeps people engaged with the show.”Finn is history. Finn was shot at point blank range by his lunatic mother Sheila Carter ( Kimberlin Brown). He was bleeding profusely and blood was coming from his mouth. He said his goodbyes and died in his wife’s arms. The reason there was no funeral and Li took her son away for a private service was so B&B could go on with the show. In spite of viewer complaints Bradly Bell and his writing team continue to push the love triangle of Steffy. Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and Hope Spencer ( Anika Noelle).

Novlan and Wood were blindsided

No one knows how the actor really feels but here is more of what he said. . “It was such an honor to be so well-received from the fans and critics. Then for everyone getting behind Finn and saying Finn was a breath of fresh air for the Hope/Liam/Steffy triangle, to be able to provide that for the fans and the show alike was a real honor.” It has also been reported that Wood has been outspoken in her disappointment over her co-star being fired. She and Novlan grew close and it's obvious that both wanted to see their characters go the distance.Steffy and Finn had amazing chemistry but as a couple they were sacrificed. Many fans of The Bold and the Beautiful expected Sinn to break up at some point and the love triangle to resume although no one is interested in watching Liam continue bouncing back and forth between Hope and Steffy. . The powers that be on the soaps obviously don't tell new actors what is in store for their characters. Consider Joe Morton who was hired to portray Senator Byron Douglas III on the NBC sitcom A Different World (September 24, 1987, to July 9, 1993). The Actor said he was told upfront his character was a temporary distraction to keep Dwayne Wayne (Kadeem Hardison} and Whitley Gilbert (Jasmine Guy) apart. B&B viewers understand the dynamic between Steffy, Hope, and Liam and the familiar pattern that has been repeated for decades. Wood and Novlan seem to have not been aware of what was going to happen with their characters and were blindsided.

Tanner Novlan has moved on

Those who are holding out hope for or pushing the narrative that Finn is still alive should take note that Novlan has moved on to other projects. The actor will reprise his role as Gregory Manes in the fourth season of Roswell, New Mexico, which is scheduled to premiere in June of this year. He is also supposed to star in an upcoming pilot called Puckheads. The IMBd for the potential series states the following: Puckheads is a comedy-drama series that focuses on the life of Paul Brooks, a retired professional hockey player. Brooks is now an assistant coach for the Chicago Carps, the team he used to play on before a knee injury ended his career. In the pilot episode, Brooks must get the Carps to break a 12-game losing streak. He brings back a promising rookie who was "released" by the head coach for having an affair with the coach's wife. It's understandable that soap spoilers make projections when they don't have all the facts but when truth is available the fans deserve to know. Be on the lookout for spoilers and updates related to The Bold and the Beautiful as well as Tanner Novlan.
