California is wonderful.
Entrepreneurship prospects here take the cake — so long as all required licenses and registrations are obtained.
Take my old computer repair job, for example. I started out by putting an ad on Craigslist. Then it dawned on me it’s illegal without state registration. No problem… I just put my life on hold for a few months while they processed an application fee.
After that, I had only to obtain a business license for every city I wanted to conduct business in, set up an account to pay 1% annually (of the fair market value of my equipment), review my service agreements for state conformity, and legally establish a business name.
Happy money-making, folks! Don’t forget to grab your licenses — those euphemisms for annually renewed criminal pardons.
Show love for California further by purchasing one of their “I hate businesses” shirts.
