Tiwa Savage is a Nigerian singer and songwriter. Her professional music career began at the age of 16. She worked as a backup singer for Mary J Blige and George Michael. Savage signed her first major music deal in 2009 with Sony music. Inspired by Nigerian music, she moved back to Nigeria and signed with Marvin Records in 2012. This is an interesting article. I notice that,apart from Nigeria and Ethiopia, most singers are from South Africa. Is South Africa the main hub of the African music scene?
