Synth Single Review: "Exodus" by A New Hope

A New Hope’s Exodus mingles muscled bass power with melodic, ethereal synth sounds and gigantic retro drums. The track commences as powerful, densely growling bass shifts below a trembling higher synth with a tentative feeling.

The elevated synth has a pipe-like quality as it ripples and sharper, medium-high synth carries the tenderly gliding melody as it glows over the drumbeat’s pulse. Heavy, rough edged weight shifts far below the shivering, the pipe-like synths shiver.

The bass supports the misty glide around it as the drumbeat drives harder and medium high, full synth calls out a melody combining dreaminess with a victorious feeling. There’s a break into a half speed drum throb while synths tremble in the background. The lead synth cries out the melody that is rich with light and uplift before the track fades on deep, hard-edged bass.
