Synth Single Review: "Downpour" by Midnight Hi-Fi

Midnight Hi-Fi’s Downpour has a breathy, caressing feeling as it slips along in a soothing sonic stream. This is music for laying back and dissolving worldly cares. As the track opens, smoothly flowing, gentle synths move over top of a rough-edged, active bass pulse. Shining notes flare over the top of the bass to add a rich glow.
The drumbeat’s smooth steadiness is touched by a delicately drifting synth that brushes above it. A glittering high synth carries a melody with an uplifting and warming feeling that sparkles out over the drum heartbeat. The melody is full of soft light as falling raindrops mingle with its crystalline glitter.
A medium-high synth carries trembling and smooth notes through the music. The jazzy, intricate guitar solo adds a laid-back, cruising feeling to the track as round synths shine with glowing ease and the steady drum pulse continues on. The music floats into a diffuse, aquamarine feeling segment that brings the track to a slow ending.
