L’Avenue’s Bad Cop is a gritty, dangerous slice of shadowy synth music. It opens as tension- filled synth cuts into a dark, wide-open audio space and a high nervous sound sweeps into unique, quickly pulsing percussion and shadowy bass waves.

The lead synth is distant and full of omen as the heavy bass growls and dense drums drive the throbbing, bouncing beat. Twisted, shadowed synth wriggles over the hard-hitting beat that stutters and jumps below it while elevated, desolate synths trickle through. The tension in the elevated synth ramps up along with computerized sounds in the background.

Heavy, threatening sounds tumble down below the evil-sounding voice that cuts in. Unique percussion sounds provide a contrast to the thunderous weight underneath as misty, swirling synth and airy sound segue into the thick, deep bass and drumbeat. An array of ear-catching percussion sounds end the song with an evil laugh fading into breathy synth.
