Spartanburg County Woman Arrested For Child Molestation

A 26-year-old Spartanburg County woman, Ashley Nicole Burnett, was arrested, by the Greer Police Department, on February 15, 2018, for child molestation.

Burnett was arrested, by the Greer police, and taken to the Spartanburg County Detention Center to be booked into jail on February 15, 2018. She was charged with one first degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor under the age of 11 and another third degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor ages 14 to 16. Burnett also faces two child neglect charges.

At the time of Burnett’s arrest, her boyfriend, Johnathan Sarratt, was serving a sentence at SCDC (South Carolina Department Of Corrections) for receiving stolen goods.

On April 30, 2019, following his release from prison, Sarratt was picked up by the Greer police department and taken to the Spartanburg County Detention Center where he was booked in and is facing six charges. Sarratt has two first degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor under 11, two third degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor between the ages of 14 and 16, and two child neglect charges.

Sarratt is Burnett’s codependent. Both of them are still incarcerated at Spartanburg County Detention Center awaiting their trial date.
