63 Adorable Actors: Sixty Years Plus

Morgan Freeman

Morgan Freeman

Morgan Freeman is like a fine wine. He just gets better with time, proving that age is just a number.

I have talked to so many women who say that Morgan Freeman is one of their favorite actors. If not the number one actor for them,

I love his common sense and his answer in an interview about what to do about racism. His answer was, "Stop talking about it." That is so true, and it reminds me of one of my grandmother's sayings, "The more you stir something bad, the worse it stinks." I am thankful I live in a rural area where the people of our community care about each other, and we are from different races.

I love Morgan Freeman's voice. It makes my heart vibrate. I'd love to see him and Ashley Judd star together. His movies are always at the top of my list to watch, especially on a girl's night out.

They have my attention until the end of the movie, and I always want more when it ends. They would be great in a short miniseries together. Morgan is like Sean Connery—the older he gets, the better looking he becomes. And I love his voice, as well as many others.

He is great in action movies, dramas, comedies, mysteries, and even love films. I confess that I think he is great.

Update for 2022

Morgan Freeman was born on June 1, 1937, in Memphis, Tennessee. He is 85 years old, but has the energy of a 30-year-old young man.

The best accolade I can give him is that he excels to the zenith of all actors, and I say this because he is one of my favorite actors.

He just completed a movie titled "The Comeback Trail" with Morgan Freeman, Robert De Niro, and Tommy Lee Jones. It seems these guys get involved with the mob because one of them owes them money. I cannot wait to see this one. It sounds like a fun night at the movies.

Morgan Freeman

2022 Update: Morgan Greeman has 66 wins and 83 nominations. His voice should be insured for a billion dollars, in my opinion.

You will find more information on his awards at this link: Morgan Freeman - IMDb Awards

He has 127 credits under his name and has movies planned. And to add a cherry on top, watch his YouTube video, "Though a Wormhole with Morgan Freeman."

He is like the energized bunny; he just keeps on making films. If he could bottle his energy, he would be a billionaire.

His easygoing demeanor and seductive voice will live on in my memory, as will all of his films, which are now available on DVD.

His movie "Las Vegas" was about a big Las Vegas bachelor party with his childhood friends. He has new movies coming out in the future that his fans will love.

They enjoyed teasing one of their friends, who pleased himself with a May and December romance. I cannot wait to get the DVD.

His film "The Last Knight" premiered on April 3rd, 2015, and then "Ted 2" premiered on June 26th, 2015. Then, the movie "Momentum" will premiere next.

Scroll to Continue

This is the information that was originally written. He is filming now ' London Has Fallen ', and its premiere date is October 2nd, 2015. He is also filming "Ben-Hur." The premiere is on February 26th, 2016. (He's an Earth Angel with his inhuman energy, and his photos are always great because he is such a handsome man.)

I, as a fan, have so much to look forward to that I have marked my calendar, so I do not miss any precious moments with Morgan Freeman.

Chuck Norris

Chuck Norris

Chuck Norris is a martial artist, actor, and producer and has many movies, television shows, and series to his credit. He is also one of my sixty sexy actors. He will always be remembered for Walker, Texas Ranger, which is my favorite, and it flourished for seven years. He was the executive producer as well as an actor for that series—Chuck Norris can do it all.

He won many karate titles, beginning in 1966, and he retired as the reigning Professional Full-Contact Middleweight Champion in 1974. He established his own school, Chun Kuk Do, and he is a black belt in Tang Soo Do and Tae Kwan Do.

Missing in Action, Firewalker, Sidekicks, Delta Force, Delta Force 2, Lone Wolf McQuade, and Hitman are some of his previous action films. And there are many more current actions.

His most recent action films include The Expendables 2. I live in the country, so I traveled 30 miles to the nearest city to buy this new movie, and it was worth it. WOW!

Chuck Norris is a great person who's respected by all his family, friends, associates, and fans around the world. He is happily married and has five children.

I love his action movies and receive my first VHS for my birthday years ago, and I have been a fan of his ever since. Now I have my collection of his movies and all of "The Texas Ranger" series.

Some people want to know: "Where is Chuck Norris now?" Well, he is still working in movies and doing commercials for exercise equipment that he believes in, and he knows what is best for a great body.

So, I am ready for a weekend of "Chuck Norris Action and Adventure Movies" with my popcorn drizzled with chocolate. And maybe I will call my girlfriends for a weekend of movie fun and relaxation.

Sean Connery is one of the greatest actors our time.

Sean Connery

Sean Connery, (August 25, 1930–October 31, 2020), a Scottish actor, was born in Edinburgh, Scotland. Because of his 6’ 2" frame, his nickname in high school was "Big Tam."

Sean joined the Royal Navy when he was sixteen years old. And, like most Navy guys, he had two tattoos inked on his right arm. One said, "Scotland Forever," and the other said, "Mum and Dad."

He has retired from making public appearances at the age of 82. He and his wife were enjoying life in the Bahamas. Mr. Connery is a Scottish actor and producer, and his multi-skilled career has become appreciated by many fans.

His powerful Scottish voice still sends tremors through his millions of female fans. I have often thought that if one had to die, let Sean Connery talk to me as I close my eyes forever. His voice is an asset to his charming, gorgeous face.

In my research, Sir Sean Connery has made 91 movies. However, he is best known for his role in the James Bond movies, which began in 1962, and my favorite was Goldfinger.

Bless you, Sir Sean Connery, and all the ones you love.

Great Multi-talented Actors

It is my greatest honor to pay homage to these great multi-talented actors, who have generated excitement, romance, love, action, drama, and laughter for us over decades of going to the movies.

These actors are 60 years old and older, but they are still sexy and handsome, and many are still working as actors on the stage, in movies, and on television today.

I cannot comprehend life without actors and their skills, as our existence would be insipid, like living in a cave with our ancestors' eons ago. Whose only entertainment was their drawings on cave walls.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the happiness and pleasure you have given to me and many others.

When I'm tired or just need to relax, I watch a video or a DVD, which many of you are playing. And then, my world becomes brighter as I escape into movie land. to watch a sixty-sexy actor who is sixty years old or older and still has the skill and the talent.

James Cann

James Caan--March 26, 1940--July 6, 2022

James Caan was born on March 24, 1940, in New York.

James Caan was a handsome and unfathomable actor, whose movie and television roles of choice have caused critics to state this as a reason for him not becoming a megastar. He's indeed a very talented man and one of my favorite stars.

He was a superstar to all his fans, and I am one of them. He has 108 movie and television roles to his credit. And I am sure no one will forget the God Father and the great television series Las Vegas, one of the best on television to this day.

He had charm radiating from his every word. I do not see how Hollywood missed this star as a leading man in love stories. His talent was not used in the proper way.

I wished I had been his agent, and today he would be more of a household name with his many romantic films.

One of his current movies, "The Outsider," is an action film with James Caan playing the role of Schuuster. He is always great when he plays the bad guy. I want to see this movie because I love James Caan; he is one of my favorite actors.

Sam Elliott

Sam Elliott

Sam Elliott (Samuel Pack Elliott), an American actor, was born in Sacramento, California, on August 9, 1944, which makes him 78 years old. His 6'2" lean frame is complemented by his famous mustache and deep, reverberating, magnetic voice, which sends chills up my spine.

With that sideways Sam Elliott look he gives mostly in Western movies; he makes him the larger-than-life cowboy.

He has made 79 movies, counting the one in postproduction, "The Company You Keep." However, my favorite Sam Elliott movies are the Westerns; he is hypnotic with his rough edges and charismatic charm.

This makes Katharine Ross, his actress wife of 28 years, a very lucky woman. And I love it when they make Westerns together. I cannot wait to see them work together again.

Sam Elliott, keep your career going full blast for a long time, please, as your fans will miss you too much.

Robert Duvall

Robert Duvall was born January 5, 1931, in San Diego, California, U.S.

He is 91 years old and not retired.

Robert Duvall is one of my favorite actors. I will stand in line around the block in deep snow to get into the theater to see him.

His fans get their money's worth and then some. I will never forget Lonesome Dove with Robert Duvall and Tommy Lee Jones.

I dreamed about the movie for months—about the hard life and how people expected to live it this way—and it was awesome.

Tommy Lee Jones

Tommy Lee Jones

Tommy Lee Jones is an American actor and film director who is 76 years old and was born in San Saba, Texas, on September 15, 1946.

With his 6’ frame, he is a dynamo as an actor, and when he gives that "Tommy Lee Look" that could melt steel, he has my attention.

I especially loved his role as Sam Gerard. He is a great marshal.

He has made 70 movies, and his career is still going strong, with a movie completed this year with Meryl Streep titled "Hope Springs" and two more in post-production.

Most people do not know that Tommy Lee is a Harvard graduate, and his roommate was Al Gore.

However, truth is stranger than fiction because he is an educated man. A great actor with a resume of very popular films

James Earl Jones

Clear and Present Danger

James Earl Jones

James Earl Jones is an American actor who many proclaim to be the best actor in American history. He was born in Artabutla, Mississippi on February 17, 1931.

At 91 years old, he has completed 180 movies, with one movie in post-production, "Gimme Shelter," and one in pre-production, "Starbright." In all, there will be 182 movies to boast about in his unique voice, which I love to hear as he enunciates each word with proficient precision while maintaining a smooth intonation.

I am one of his biggest fans and I have his movies on video and DVD to enjoy.

John Joseph "Jack" Nicholson

John Joseph "Jack" Nicholson is an American actor who has entertained us for many years. He wears many hats—besides being an actor, he is a writer, producer, and director.

He has over 75 acting credits and many more as a writer, director, and producer. He is from the "cream of the crop" of great actors. He is believable in any part he plays, and I can honestly say that he scared my southern accent away in "The Shining." I remember, after seeing the movie, staying really close to my mother for a few days.

One of his movies I just love is "The Bucket List," in which he starred with another of my favorites, Morgan Freeman. This is a great movie, and I want my own DVD of it so I can watch it for years to come.

I think that is amazing. I hope they are enjoying their life with their father. I'm sure he'd be entertaining to grow up with.

Mr. Jack Nicholson, for all the memories you have given so many, we know your star will forever shine luminously in our hearts.

Burt Reynolds

Smokey and the Bandit

Burt Reynolds--- February 11, 1936 – September 6, 2018

Burton, Leon Reynolds, Jr.

As I write this, Burt Reynolds is recovering in a Florida hospital from the flu. Feel better soon, sir.

Burt was one of my mother's favorite actors, and I am one of his greatest fans. My mother laughed so much at the movie "Smokey and the Bandit," one of her all-time favorites. I have two copies of his DVDs.

In the 1970s and '80s, he dated the Queen of Nashville (this is what I called her): Dinah Shore, one of Hollywood’s Angels. She was 20 years older than Burt Reynolds. They were together for six years in the 1970s. I think they should have married. What a couple!

Burt had good taste in women, and when Dinah Shore died, Burt stated, "Hollywood has lost an angel."

Another movie, another favorite, and one of my favorites, "Broken Bridges," with Toby Keith, Kelly Preston, Lindsey Haun, Willie Nelson, and one of my favorite stars, Tess Harper.

I certainly agree that Morgan Freeman elevates any movie he's in. I saw a God-awful movie that starred Freeman, Robert Redford, and Jennifer Lopez. I remember nothing about the movie but Freeman's character. He made it memorable even though he had little to work with.

Wonderful hub! I was both delighted and nostalgic to see that some of my 2nd generation heroes are getting into 60s and above. I admire them for how gracefully all of them have aged.

The first generation that I saw was a child when my father used to sit by us siblings narrating the stories as they moved - Gregory Peck (Mackenna's Gold), Burt Lancaster (Gun fight at OK Corral), Humphrey Bogart (Casa Blanca), Henry Fonda (12 angry men), etc.

The 2nd generation is what I grew up watching that you have covered above. Roger Moore, Chuck Norris, Harrison Ford, Mel Gibson, Morgan Freeman, and my all time favorite - Clint Eastwood, have all left lasting impressions on me. Of course, I myself got into Taekwondo due to Bruce Lee and Chuck Norris. Although I did watch all the movies of Steven Seagal, I though, unlike Lee and Norris, his acting was terrible.

Btw, Chuck Norris started a martial art tournament in which 10 members on each team would combat members from other team and then there would be an overall champion team. The concept had look great. I had liked it immensely over MMA. I am not sure if it lasted or is still continuing. They don't show it on TV in Canada anymore.

Thanks for the visit and your comment. Yes, Robert was great in Lonesome Dove, and so was Tommy Lee Jones.

Great tribute to the most wonderful gentleman actors in the world -- if I had to pick a favorite it would probably be Bob Duvall -- but then I'm prejudiced where cowboy character actors are concerned. How fortunate we all are to enjoy their talents. Excellent Hub about super people. Best/Sis

Yes, Sam Elliott and Sean Connery are two of my favorites. It would very difficult to select just one between all these hunks.

Thanks for your visit and have a great day.

Sam Elliott...Mmmmmmmm. Great hub Bobbi. Sean Connery will always be on my top 10 list but for me, Sam wins hands down.

Voted up etc.

What a fantastic hub on some incredible men. Today's 60's are like the old 40's. These guys look great. Thanks for ending my night with these handsome men.

You named some great actors here Bobbi! Duvall has always been one of the most underrated actors, ever since he burst on the scene in "To Kill A Mockingbird." Great hub!

I aree with K9keystrokes, Sam Elliot is still a vey attractive man and his voice is so unique. I also favor Tommy Lee Jones for his handsome features and sense of humor.

India Arnold from Northern, California on June 20, 2012:

I think Sam Elliott is a very handsome man, and I also find Kevin Kline adorable! Possibly a follow-up hub about the women of this age group? Fun hub!
