Marcus Taggert is back
Real' Andrews fans were concerned when Asante Jones replaced him for a second time recently on General Hospital. On February 11, it was Jones who was seated at a table as Marcus Taggert and talking to Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) and Portia Robinson --(Brooke Kerr). Viewers wondered if Jones was taking over the role and what was going on with Real'. It had been a while since Taggert was mentioned or seen in Port Charles and viewers knew there was a situation involving him that needs to be resolved. The actor recently gave an update and shared the news with his followers on social media. It seems that Andrews had another health set back as he tested positive for the coronavirus. He announced to the delight of his fans that he is is now recovering from COVID and added that he will be returning GH and his popular. character. This is great news and now GH viewers have something to look forward to. There is a lot of drama brewing in Port Charles and also much deception surrounding Taggert's associates. There is about to be a lot of heartache and pain and Marcus will be in the midst of it all once he resurfaces . Fans have had a difficult time investing in some of the characters because there has been a lot of change both on and off the screen.Hopefully, things will settle down a bit and questions will begin to be answered.
GH fans need a score card to keep up
In addition to Jones replacing Andrews twice, there have been a few other cast changes that fans of the ABC soap have had to adapt to. The most recent is that Sydney Mikayla just announced she is leaving General Hospital to focus on her studies at USC ( The University of Southern California), Will Lipton who portrays Cameron Webber attends the same school and like Mikayla he went on recurring status in order to focus on his studies. Lipton seems to be still going strong but Mikayla's last air date is March 17. She is being replaced by Tabyana Ali. and so far fans have been supportive to Sydney’s decision. Let’s hope they extend the same curtesy toTabyanna and give her a chance to make the role her own. Another recent change is because Briana Nicole Henry left her role as Jordan Ashford a few months back after saying 3 and 1/2 years on the ANC soap was enough. Tanisha Harper is now portraying the police commissioner and those who watch GH are trying to get used to a third actress in the role in under four years. On-screen Taggert is supposed to be living with Jordan and some fans thought they might begin a romance. It's clear that Jordan still loves her husband (Curtis Ashford) who is now dating Portia. If as many fans suspect, Curtis is the biological dad of Trina then the dynamic for everyone will change.
Port Charles will be full of confusion
Taggert is going to be devastated if he learns Trina is not really his daughter and this could cause problems between him and Portia and also Curtis. In the meantime Trina might be framed by Esme Prince for leaking the video of Joslyn Jacks ( Eden McCoy) and Cameron Webber (Will Lipton) having sex for the first time. Trina may need both of her dad’s to help her get through this but if she finds out it's Curtis there wil naturally be some high emotions and no one knows how will she will react. There is also the fact that Aunt Stella Henry (Verne Watson) never filed Curtis and Jordan's divorce papers which will affect all involved. Once this comes to light Jordan might try to hold on to her marriage. Portia is already exhibiting anxiety now that Jordan is back and she could loose both Marcus and Curtis if Trina is anAshford and not a Taggert. Whatever takes place the fans of Real' Andrews will be glad to see him back in Port Charles. The actor dealt with cancer a few years back and he shared last year that he is now cancer-free. Spoilers have not confirmed that Andrews is coming back to General Hospital and the actor did not say when he would be back in Port Charles. Be on the lookout for updates related to what comes next for Andrews as well as Marcus Taggert.
