Introduction...

So it’s happened. Something I figured was a fool’s dream will eventually come true. One Punch Man Season 3 is coming. I’m so excited, but all we have is an announcement. Let’s get into it.

king:"Sure I'll fight you. But I need to take a dump first."

The announcement, speculation, and summary of One Punch Man season 1 and 2.

One Punch Man Season 3 was announced on August 17th in the One Punch Man manga chapter 215. So far that’s all we got. No news about the episode count, air date, or cast. And on one hand I’m okay with this since anime fans have waited three years for any word on season 3 of One Punch Man.

Hopefully we’ll get an answer on why it took so long, but my guess is the production might be switching studios again. I doubt it though, but one can hope MAPPA, MADHouse’s sister company will animate season 3. But that’s just foolish speculation.

One Punch Man is about a self-made hero named Saitama who is left unsatisfied, as he kept killing monsters with a single punch. So after meeting the cyborg Genos, Saitama gets recruited by an organization of employed super heroes. From there Saitama works his way up from C Class to B-Class. And in season 2 Garou was introduced, made it clear he sided with the monsters.

And Garou’s rampage catches the attention of a group of monsters who look to conquer the world. The second season ended with Garou being saved from being beaten by Bang, his brother Rock, and being taken to the monster boss, Orochi.

Bro, seriously...?

Conclusion...

In conclusion, despite the fact that we know so little so far, I’m still excited that we’re still getting One Punch Man Season 3. And I’ll be keeping an eye out for further news about this.
