Keith Urban's Top Hits...

Dear "Sweet Thing"....I'm writing this letter to you to thank you for sharing your musical talents with your fans and "Making Memories Of Us." This song was my daughter's and son-in-law's first dance song at their wedding, I was one proud mama.

You are like the perfect pair of blue jeans, reliable, comfortable and when "I'm In" them, I know chances are very good that I'll have a "Better Life."

"Somebody Like You" and your catchy, country tunes can take a bad day and turn it around into marvelous, memorable moments. Your songs help me to de-stress, relax and help to remind me to be here now which by the way, would be a great song title and I bet it would be another hit for you. It's worth a try.

As "Days Go By" I wonder, how did I ever survive "Without You" and your musical genius! Whether it's your songwriting, guitar playing or singing I admire you for your drive and determination to please your audience.

Personally I think "Everybody" should listen to your voice if only "Once In A Lifetime" but I guarantee they will become hooked from the first song.

I can then proceed to say, "I Told You So!" I can also tell them not to be a "Stupid Boy" or girl and listen to my advice next time, because I know great music when I hear it!

Seriously, "Who Wouldn't Want To Be Me" as I'm dancing around the room while feeling the melody and being taken to a different dimension!

Even if it's "Raining On Sunday" the dancing is going to happen and I am so grateful. Which, by the way, this song is amazing for every day of the week, not just Sunday.

Keith Urban's song list continues...

Keith, you are truly a wonder from down under. Hey, there's another song title for you! I'm on a roll...

I have been a fan for many years. I will always remember the time I met you at a concert in a parking lot for a Best Buy grand opening. The very short line to shake your hand began "Where The Blacktop Ends," it was a spectacular outdoor experience.

I never had a chance to tell you when you shook my hand, but I was secretly wishing for you to "Kiss A Girl" and of course that would have been me! If you had the opportunity to do that trust me, "You'll Think Of Me" afterwards.

I also would have loved to have had the chance to hear you tell me "You Look Good In My Shirt!" Hold up, back to reality!

"Your Everything" to your beautiful daughters, wife Nicole Kidman and abundance of fanatical fans. Your latest gig as an American Idol judge has gained you a whole new audience. Friends of mine, who would never listen to country music, now tell me that they are fans of yours. I love it!

I know you appreciate all you have achieved "But For The Grace Of God" can you come back to Orlando for another concert, a private one would be ever better! I'd be so honored.

I'll give you some more time to ponder that idea, well at least "Till Summer Comes Along."

If you adhere to this one request I will "Put You In a Song" well, that's if I ever begin writing music. With you being so influential I just might do that one day.

Thank you again for sharing your gift with your fans. I no longer say "Tonight I Wanna Cry" I now say, I'm going to listen to Keith because "You're My Better Half" when it comes to making my heart super happy via terrific artistic tunes!

Scroll to Continue

On behalf of the multitude of admiring fans you have acquired over the years I would like to say "Only You Can Love Us This Way!"

You sure make a "Long Hot Summer" a lot cooler! Keep on rockin' it KU. Hey, yet, another song title!

Jackie Lynnley from the beautiful south on October 25, 2011:

This "IS" great. I may go back to listening to him again. Fell in love with him then he got in that drug thing and that just disgusts me when someone who has everything does that and are such a bad influence too on so many people, but I hear he is clean now and I can see he is certainly good. Hope that guy with the girl in the video learns to sing too! lol

Roger Bamps on October 22, 2011:

If you ask me,that time Keith Urban,

Thank you hyphenbird! Someone actually shared it on KU's website according to my stats...I'm still hoping on a comment or a backstage pass would be better!!! I'm on my way to check out your Bruce hub! :)

Brenda Barnes from America-Broken But Still Beautiful on September 04, 2011:

Sunshine, this is so cool and you did a great job with it. Really it is harder than people realize to put something like this together. I did one on Bruce Springsteen songs, but it was not this nice. My girl was a stalker. lol

Mr. Urban would love this. Perhaps you can send it to him through his website. He might even send you a backstage pass. And you can take me with you because I suggested it!

What a great Hub.

Linda Bilyeu (author) from Orlando, FL on September 02, 2011:

From your mouth to Keiths ears Sharyn! :)

I actually heard from a man who hand delivered a letter he wrote to Keith. The letter was about his wife who had passed away and was a KU fanatic...possibly more then I am. Possibly:)

Sharon Smith from Northeast Ohio USA on September 02, 2011:

You are really good at this Sunshine. Awesome writing. Very creative! I can only hope that Keith sees this. Maybe you can hand-deliver . . .

Sharyn

Carissa on August 22, 2011:

I like - Keith, you are truly a wonder from down under. lol

annaw from North Texas on August 22, 2011:

Really nice tribute. Thanks for including the videos. This young man is one of the few young country artists I listen to. Yes, I like country. Have been listening to it since I was young. In the place and era I grew up in there was not music for my ethnic group on the radio as today. If you did not own records( LP's) the radio was all there was. I grew up listening to the old greats e.g. Loretta Lynn, Dolly Pardon, Porter Wagoner and the like. Good Hub.
