Many things happened due to the spread of COVID-19 all around the world like the closure of Disneyland, postponement of Wonder Con, etc and many main events got either closed or delayed due to this pandemic. Also, many studios have suspended or delayed some of the major films like the last James bond movie No Time To Die.

Black Widow

Black Widow is a solo movie for Scarlet Johanson's Black Widow character in MCU. The production company of the movie is Marvel Entertainments and it is distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. It is directed by Cate Shortland. It stars Scarlet Johanson, David Harbour, etc. The movie is considered as the 24th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It is originally scheduled to release on April 30, 2020, which delayed to release on November 5th. Due to this delay, many movies from future marvel movies are also postponed.

Mulan

Mulan is a Disney live-action film directed by Niki Caro. The production company of the movie is Walt Disney Pictures and it is distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. This movie is based on the Chinese novel "The Ballad Of Mulan". The movie stars Liu Yifie, Donnie Yen, Jason Scott, and Jet Li. It dated to release on March 27th but delayed to July 24th due to the pandemic. Mulan is the first remake from Disney to be given a PG-13 rating by MPAA.

Fast And Furious 9

Fast and Furious 9 is an American action movie directed by Justin Lin. It is the ninth installment from the fast and furious franchise produced by Universal Pictures and Vin Diesel and it is distributed by Universal Pictures. It dated to release on some time in May 2020. But due to the pandemic, the release of this movie postponed to April 2nd, 2021. This is the highest push-back of a year delay in movie history. Fast and Furious sequels tend to be the year's highest-grossing movies. More than 75% of the gross of the previous three films came from overseas.

No Time To Die

No Time To Die is the upcoming spy movie. It is the twenty-fifth installment and the last James Bond movie produced by Eon Productions. The movie is distributed by United Artists Releasing and Universal Pictures. It is directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga and stars Daniel Craig in it. It dated to release on April 2nd but instead, it delayed to release on November 12th in the UK and on November 25th in the US due to the pandemic. It is the first movie in the James Bond film series which is distributed by Universal Pictures. All the remaining James Bond movies were distributed by Sony Pictures till Spectre which is released in 2015.

Morbius

Morbius is a superhero film based on a character of Marvel Comics. The movie produced by Columbia Pictures in association with Marvel Entertainments and distributed by Sony Pictures. It is the second of Sony's Marvel movie directed by Daniel Espinosa. It stars Jared Leto, Matt Smith, Adria Arjona, etc. In the movie, in an attempt to cure his rare disease, Morbius turns into a type of Vampire. It dated to release on July 31st, 2020 but delayed to release on March 19th, 2021.

The Spongebob Movie: Sponge On The Run

The Spongebob Movie: Sponge On The Run is an American live-action animated comedy movie produced by Paramount Animation and Nickelodeon Movies. The movie is distributed by Paramount Pictures. It is directed by Tim Hill. It is based on Animation TV series Spongebob SquarePants. It stars Tom Kenny, Clancy Brown, etc. This movie delayed so times before due to post-production problems and got a final release date on April 2nd, 2020. But due to COVID-19, the movie delayed to May 22nd, 2020.

Wonder Woman 1984

Wonder Women 1984 is the ninth installment in the DC extended universe, which is produced by DC films and Atlas Entertainment. The movie is distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures. The movie is a sequel to the 2017's Wonder Woman movie. It is an American superhero movie based on a DC comic character. It is directed by Patty Jenkins and stars Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Pedro Pascal, etc. It scheduled to release on June 5th is now delayed to release on August 14th due to the pandemic.

A Quiet Place: Part 2

A Quiet Place: part 2 is an American Horror movie and a sequel to A Quiet Place. The movie is written and directed by John Krasinski. The production company of the movie is Platinum Dunes and it is distributed by Paramount Pictures. It stars Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds, and Noah Dupe. The movie had its premiere on March 8th, 2020 in New York City. Paramount Pictures rescheduled the release date of the movie to September 4th, 2020 just before a week from its original release.

The New Mutants:

The New Mutants is an American Horror movie in the superhero genre. The movie is based on the Marvel Comics of the same name. The production companies of the movie are Marvel Entertainments and TSG Entertainment and it is distributed by 20th Century Studios. The movie stars Maisie Williams, Anya Taylor Joy, Charlie Heaton, Alice Braga, etc. The movie has several release dates since it was first announced and recently it was scheduled to release on April 3rd, 2020. But due to the Corona Virus pandemic, the movie is postponed to release on later dates in 2020. The new release date of the movie is not yet confirmed.
