There were 34,911 people that took part in the auditions, she was only one of four people that survived the audition’s final round at the venue called Shibuya Club Quattro. The HoriPro Talent Scout Caravan is the same audition that supermodel and movie actress Yoko Mitsuya would be successful in, winning a prize for her efforts. However, due to the singles not being successful, May’N took a one-year hiatus in order to change labels. May’N also performed in Singapore during the Anime Festival Asia 08 in November. In January 2009, she held her first live performance in Japan.
