After seven weeks of marriage, four Philadelphia couples made their decision on Tuesday, April 2, 2019, to either stay married or get a divorce. The three experts, Dr. Pepper Schwartz, Dr. Jessica Griffin, and Pastor Calvin Roberson met with the couples during the finale and asked them, "Do you want to stay married or do you want to get a divorce?"
Stephanie and AJ
Stephanie Sersen and AJ Vollmoeller were the first ones to give their decision. AJ did not hesitate to give his answer to stay married.
AJ calmed down a lot from the beginning of the series. Stephanie said she wanted to stay married to him. She is convinced that they will be able to make it on their own now that the reality show has come to an end.
Jasmine and Will
Jasmine McGriff said she wanted to stay married to Will Guess, but he said he wanted a divorce. Many fans thought it would be the opposite response from them. The experts said they are missing out on a lot by not staying together. Jasmine was hurt after Will's decision.
Will said that in the end, Jasmine will see that his decision was the best. After all, he rated his wife as a 6.8 on a scale of 10 in an earlier episode. It was surprising that she wanted to stay married to someone like that.
Will said he was divorcing Jasmine because of bad communication. Actually, he didn't think he should be the breadwinner in the marriage. Jasmine wanted a man to step up to the plate with finances, but Will insisted on a 50/50 marriage.
Kate and Luke
Luke Cuccurullo said some mean things to Kate Sisk throughout the seven-week marriage. Luke accused Kate of being an alcoholic. He admitted he wasn’t attracted to her. He said it was repulsive when he kissed her. They had been having sex all season, but Luke wanted it to be kept a secret especially since he would go into the bathroom after each encounter because he didn't want to be around Kate. No one expected them to stay together. In fact, most people on social media were hoping they would divorce.
Kate was the first to say, "I think we should go our separate ways." Then Luke agreed. Dr. Calvin Roberson said he usually fights for couples to stay together, but he couldn't fight for this marriage. The other two experts agreed it would be healthier if the two of them got a divorce.
Kristine and Keith
Kristine Killingsworth and Keith Dewar were the last to announce their decision. They appeared to be the strongest of the four couples. When asked if they had said they loved each other yet, Keith spoke up. He said he had gotten to the L-O-V, but the E wasn't there yet. Dr. Roberson said, "That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard." However, Keith said he wanted to stay married to Kristine.
Kristine hesitated before given her answer. When she finally spoke, she said she would like to stay married. Keith smiled from ear to ear and told her, “You bring the best out of me and I’m evolving to a greater person,” He added, “I really can say that ‘I love you.’” In other words, he finally put an E on the L-O-V.

Social Media Reacts to the Couples' Decisions
Now that the couples have made their decisions, social media is going wild with comments. Even Dr. Jessica Griffin said the experts regret matching Luke and Kate, according to Reality TV World. She was not the only one who agreed that Luke and Kate were not meant to be together. In fact, it was very painful watching how badly Luke treated Kate.
On Twitter, the other three couples this season weighed in Luke bad behavior. AJ said he was "boiling inside" when he watched the way Luke treated Kate. Keith Dewars called it a "trainwreck." Jasmine McGriff said she is glad Kate and Luke decided to divorce.
Jamie Otis who hosts Married at First Sight Unfiltered said she wanted Luke and Kate to divorce. The host said that watching them was pretty cringe-worthy from the very beginning of the season. Jamie said she thinks some dysfunction was going on in that marriage regardless of who was to blame.
Many people commented on Twitter that the experts or the producers should have stepped in and done something about Luke behavior even if it meant getting rid of the couple from Married at First Sight.
Opportunity to Change Their Decision
Watch the reunion next week when all four of the couples will meet with host Kevin Frazier to share what has happened in a month since decision day. Sometimes the couples change their minds by then.
Kate was seen questioning Luke about his sexual orientation in the preview for the upcoming episode on Tuesday, April 9, at 9 p.m. She said she had read a lot of comments on social media about him being in a relationship with a man.

Cynthia, make sure you watch the reunion show next week. It is going to be very explosive when Kate confronts Luke about being in a relationship with a man.
Cynthia L Tacklyn from Bermuda on April 03, 2019:
I am Soo Glad that Kate Finally Stood up for herself & Kicked Luke to the Curb.. Her girlfriends were Stop On with their comments about Luke and how he was treating her. He did not at any time show any Respect for Kate or the Show. He could have at least been open minded and given their friendship a chance to grow. On Their honeymoon you tell your Brand New Spouse that when you kiss them for the First Time that they Repulse them and that you felt dead inside.. The more I saw Luke.. The More I really disliked him..
Louise Powles from Norfolk, England on April 03, 2019:

Cheryl E Preston from Roanoke on April 03, 2019:
