All four couples of the remaining couples on Season 14 of Married at First Sight have deal-breakers. That means none of them are sure they will decide to stay together on Decision Day which airs on April 27, 2022. More than likely, all of them will decide to divorce.
Even if they say they will stay together on Decision Day, they might say something different during the reunion. That has happened several times in the past.
Noi Phommasak and Steve Moy
Initially, viewers thought Noi Phommasak would say she doesn't want to stay married to Steve Moy because he is unemployed. They have discussed it, and even though it is not an ideal situation, that doesn't seem to be their major problem.
Steve has been very angry that Noi has shared cryptic messages online that might have made her followers think she was talking about their relationship. Steve thinks his wife will continue to post about their marriage.
What could really be a deal-breaker is that Noi does not want to give up her studio apartment. She has explained to Steve on several occasions that she doesn’t want to move in with him after Decision Day. She says, “I just don’t feel comfortable, like, combining our lives completely. I’m just not ready to do that yet.”
Steve commented that he thought moving in was just something that came with marriage. Because of Noi's strong decision to move back into her studio apartment, Steve tells her that he thinks she is not committed to the marriage. She rationalizes by saying, “There are plenty of married couples who stay in separate places.”
If Steve and Noi decide to stay married and if Noi takes Steve's last name, she will be Noi Moy.
Jasmina Outar and Michael Morency
Jasmina Outar and Michael Morency are making some progress, but will it be enough to keep them together after Decision Day. They have been having issues during the entire season. Jasmina has confronted Michael about their different lifestyles, the way he talks to her, and Michael not telling her about his two female roommates.
Michael might say he is willing to stay married, but Jasmina says even though their marriage is at the halfway mark, it has to be more than that for her to say she wants to stay married to Michael on Decision Day.
Katina Goode and Olajuwon Dickerson
Olajuwon Dickerson admitted that he used to be a playboy who went from woman to woman before he married Katina Goode. Now, he says it is a blessing he was matched with Katina. Fans of the show believe they will not stay married.
Olajuwon's beliefs about what Katina's duties should be in the marriage are not realistic. He thinks she should focus on cooking and cleaning. He doesn't agree they should have children in two years because Katina will still be in school at the time. He says he is not willing to take care of a wife and children because he wants to travel and do other things.
Viewers have noticed that Katina is spending a lot of time apologizing to Olajuwon. He is more about what he wants rather than compromising.
Lindsey Georgoulis and Mark Maher
Fans are hoping Mark Maher will say he wants a divorce from Lindsey Georgoulis on Decision Day. The couple has faced obstacles in their marriage, and it doesn't seem like things are getting any better. Lindsey has instigated many attacks on Mark. She talks about their intimacy in public while putting Mark down every chance she gets. He doesn't seem to be able to do anything to satisfy her.
Lindsey goes from hot to cold in an instance, and Mark can never know when that will happen. Lindsey has no filter. She picks fights and pokes people and the other cast members and just her husband.
Viewers have described Lindsey as one of the most controversial wives in the history of the show. Some have contributed her behavior to her drinking habit. She is often seen with a drink in her hand. She drank two bottles of champagne on her wedding day.
In this writer's opinion, none of the four couples should stay married. They are poor examples of what a loving marriage should be like.
With the way things have been going over the eight weeks, none of the marriages seem to be on solid ground. Even if some of the couples agree to stay together on Decision Day, they might change their minds by the time the reunion show airs.
