Viewers are wondering why the relationship experts don't stay long on the reality show. Dr. Viviana stayed longer than any of the others. Let's see how long the two new experts will last.
New Expert: Dr. Pia Holec
Dr. Pia Holec, a renowned psychotherapist specializing in sex and couples’ therapy, is joining the experts on Married at First Sight during Season15 which premieres on July 6, 2022.
The Chicago native will work along with DeVon Franklin to help ten newlyweds adjust to married life after they meet for the first time at the altar and marry the stranger standing before them.
New Expert: DeVon Franklin
DeVon Franklin is a 44-year-old Hollywood producer, bestselling author, and a relationship advisor. Franklin is also a Seventh-day Adventist minister. Some people are wondering why he was asked to be a relationship expert following his recent divorce from actress Meagan Good especially after they co-wrote the relationship book, The Wait: A Powerful Practice for Finding the Love of Your Life and the Life You Love.
Franklin and Good were married from June 2012 to September 2021. Franklin is the one who filed for divorce after nine years of marriage
Franklin explained in detail why he will be a relationship expert after his recent divorce. He revealed that he was asked to be an expert before his divorce. After his divorce, he told the producers that he decided not to become a relationship on the show because of his divorce. The producers told him that it didn't matter. In fact, they told him that he would be equipped to tell the newlyweds what not to do based on his recent experience. That convinced Franklin to share the responsibility with Dr. Pia Holec, another new relationship expert.
Being divorced hasn't stopped Dr. Pepper Schwartz from being an expert on Married at First Sight. Viewers learned during Season 14 that she has been married three times and divorced twice. She and her current husband live in separate houses. Dr. Pepper shared that information with Noi when Noi was determined not to move in with Steve, her new husband.
