When K-dramas first became popular, they captivated audiences. Not only because of the plot but also because they see an attractive couple acting as if they were lovers.

Several of them will eventually fall in love because they will get to know each other while filming for months together as they become closer to the drama or film.

But first, what exactly is a Korean drama, or K-drama?

Korean dramas are television shows in Korea. They are now widely available on streaming services such as Netflix because of K-Pop culture (Korean popular culture, also known as the "Korean Wave").

I've listed some of the most recent reel couples who became real couples.

1. Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin

Hyun Bin and Son Ye-Jin. They have only recently announced that they are officially dating. Both met on the set of the 2017 film The Negotiation. They also modeled for Vogue Korea in August 2018. Many rumors about their relationship circulate because Hyun Bin frequently appears in Ye-jin's Instagram posts. Aside from that, they were also spotted doing groceries in Los Angeles, but both denied being alone. They would deny that they were dating.

In interviews, Hyun Bin always stated that he wanted to work with Ye-jin again on another project to get to know her better. Then they were cast as leads in the 2020 TV series "Crash Landing On You." The chemistry is undeniable, fueling rumors that they are dating. Fans then referred to their favorite team as BinJin, so the story continued until the first week of January 2021, when both confirmed that they were already a couple.

2. Lee Joon and Jung So Min

In the "My Father Is Strange" TV series, Lee Joon and Jong So Min played a couple, and the celebrities' love stories evolved not only on the show but also in real life.

Jong So-min, a South Korean actress, was born on March 16 in Seoul, South Korea. So she'll be 32 years old in a couple of weeks. Lee Joon is a South Korean singer, actor, and DJ. He was born on February 7, 1988, and is 33 years old.

Their relationship began in October 2017 and was only made public after several months.

Unfortunately, after three years of dating, they split up due to time apart, citing that they were busy with their projects.

3. Song Jong-ki and Song Hye-kyo

If you've seen Descendants of the Sun, you'll recognize Captain Yoo Si-jin and Dr. Kang Mo-yeon.

It's a love story between a soldier and a doctor who met on a mission and fell in love.

Song Jong-ki, who played Captain Yoo Si-jin, and Song Hye-Kyo, who played Dr. Kang Mo-yeon, met in real life and fell in love, just like their characters in the series.

They initially denied their relationship, as did the BinJin couple, and everyone was surprised when they unexpectedly announced their marriage.

The international actor, like Lee Byung-hun (Rush Hour 4, Red 2, Terminator Genisys), is now the husband of South Korean actress Lee Min-jung.

4. Ryu Jun Yeol and Hyeri
