Beautiful Japanese actresses with Ayumi Hamasaki, Nozomi Sasaki, Namie Amuro, Horikita Maki and more.
Here is my second article about beautiful Japanese actresses, singers and performers.
This time we have Ayumi Hamasaki, Namie Amuro, Horikita Maki, Erika Sawajiri, Horikita Maki and more.
And also this time, we have a young lady that someone asked to be included.....
Japanese singer-songwriter and former actress Ayumi Hamasaki was born on October 2nd, 1978 in Fukuoka, Japan.
Ayumi (or Ayu) has been dubbed the "Empress of Pop" in Japan because of her popularity and widespread influence not only in Japan, but also in China, Singapore and Taiwan.
She debuted on the Japanese music scene with her single "Poker Face"(not related to the Lady Gaga song) and has sold over 50 million records since, making her one of Japan's best-selling singers.
Ayumi is the Japanese female artist with the highest singles sales, the most number-one singles, and is tied for the most million selling singles.
Ayumi Hamasaki is also the only Japanese artist to have a number one single every year for ten straight years and the first to have her first eight studio albums top the Oricon ( Japan's version of the Billboard charts).
Ayumi has appeared in seven movies and TV shows.

Nozomi Sasaki (or just plain Nozomi) is a Japanese actress, singer, model and MMA commentator.
And from what I understand...not a very pleasant person.
Oh sure she's cute, but a lot of models and actresses that have worked with her (especially from other countries) say that...
Well to quote Joan Crawford:
"And by the way, there's a name for you ladies, but it isn't used in high society - outside of a kennel."
However, her fans might just see that as the ability to stand up for herself in a rough world.
She has backed down at least one model (Yukina Kinoshita) by grabbing her arm and staring at her, which Yukina said seriously freaked her out.
Nozomi has appeared in two films (Handsome Suit (2008) and Tenshi no Koi (2009)) and eight television series.
I once had an entire Hub devoted to Namie Amuro (Amuro Namie).
Namie was born on September 20th, 1977 in Okinawa, Japan and is a Japanese singer, dancer, and former child actor.
At the peak of her career, she was referred to as "Teen Queen (of Japan)" and the "Queen of Japanese pop music".
Namie has produced several million-selling records and started several fashion trends in Japan.
Since her debut at the age of fourteen, Nami has remained one of the longest surviving popular female singers in Japan.
Namie is the only Japanese female artist to have achieved a Top 10 single each year for fourteen straight years.
Since 1995, she has released 8 albums and 3 compilation albums, and in 2001, she made a transition from pop star to R&B.
Namie has appeared on five TV shows and two movies.
Japanese asctress Horikita Maki (Maki Horikita) was born on October 6th, 1988, in Kiyose, Tokyo.
Maki started her acting career in 2003 as a U-15 idol (junior idol) and has starred in a number of Japanese television dramas, TV and magazine ads, and films.
When she was a young girl, she was a tomboy, not playing with the other girls, but preferring to play "DragonBall Z" with the boys.
After graduating, she moved into modeling and starred in a series of commercials for Fujifilm alongside fellow Japanese idol Nagase Tomoya.
Maki got a lot of recognition for her roles in the TV dramas, Densha Otoko and Nobuta wo Produce in 2005.
In 2007 she won a Best Actress award for her role in Hana-Kimi, or Hanazakari no Kimitachi e, based on a Japanese manga.
Also in 2007, Maki Horikita was chosen one of the eleven Women of the Year by Vogue Nippon.
Erika Sawajiri was born on April 8th, 1986 in Nerima, Tokyo, Japan.
She is a Japanese actress, model, and musician (she used to use the name Kaoru Amane in her music).
Erika took most of 2008 off, spending three months in London and learning English.
On January 19th, 2009, Erika married her boyfriend, media creator Tsuyoshi Takashiro.
Erika has made ten movies, appeared in six TV dramas, released four DVDs and three music singles.
In my last Hub Angus Connor asked about her, so I'm starting part two off with Kyoko Fukada (Fukada Kyoko).
She is a Japanese actress, model and singer sometimes known as Fukakyon.
Fukada was born on November 2nd, 1982 in Toyko Japan.
She debuted in the television drama Sore ga Kotae da! as Kazune back in 1997, and since then has done a ton of TV and movie appearances, notably in Ring 2, the sequel to the Japanese horror film, Ring.
Besides acting, she has released seven singles and four albums in Japan.
She's been very busy on Japanese television in 2009, appearing in the TV series Kareinaru Spy, Tenchijin, Yattâman and Kurobe no Taiyou.
Japanese actress, singer, idol, and tarento (media personality) Aya Ueto was born on September 14th, 1985 in Nerima (a ward of Tokyo), Tokyo, Japan.
At the age of twelve, Aya won the Judges' Special Choice Prize at the 7th All-Japan National Young Beauty Contest.
After that, she joined a talent agency and started acting and singing lessons.
Her film debut came in 1999 in the movie Satsujinsha Killer of Paraiso.
That same year, she debuted on television in the TV series Ultraman Gaia.
She has since gone on to appear in eleven films and over thirty television shows.
Aya has also released five studio albums, a compilation album, a remix album and sixteen singles.
She's also released three concert DVDs.
Haruka Ayase was born on March 24, 1985 in Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan.
She is a Japanese actress that first gained attention in the 2002 short film, Justice.
Before that though, in 2001, she appeared on the Japanese TV show, Kindaichi Shonen no Jikembo II SP.
Haruka's breakthrough role was in 2004 on the TV drama Crying Out Love, In the Center of the World, based on the novel and manga.
She has gone on to appear in over seventeen TV dramas and twelve movies (though sometimes as a voice actor).
Haruka has also released three singles in Japan.
Lovely Japanese actress Mao Inoue was born on January 9th, 1987 in Yokohama, Japan.
Mao started acting at the age of five, but she got national attention in the TV drama Kids War in 1999.
She was cast as the star of the Japanese TV show Hana Yori Dango (based on the Japanese manga Boys Over Flowers) in 2005 which was very popular.
So popular in fact that it lead to a sequel, Hana Yori Dango 2 in 2007.
And it didn't stop there, after Hana Yori Dango 2 aired, Hana Yori Dango Final was made as a movie.
Mao has appeared in over 40 TV dramas, 5 movies, and appeared on stage.
