Gundam Epicness
Gundam Series Conclusion
If you happened to have watched any of these Gundam series, you probably will find the others really good as well. The breakthrough from the 'Super Robot' genre to 'Real Robot' genre definitely took some bold measures.
People back then really expected another Super Robot anime, which is similar to shows such as Mazinger Z or Zambot 3. To really branch out and try something entirely different allowed us Gundam fans to enjoy what we get to watch today.
Perhaps someday, when the gundam franchise reaches a plateau, we will get to see a creation of a new genre that mixes the real robot genre and the super robot genre. Who knows?
