Draven’s Cauchemar Noir is a full-on, terrorizing synth assault that ferociously batters the senses with dark power. Screaming choral voices howl like damned souls over stabs of dark, heavy sound that crackle with tension. Elevated piano twists nervously before the massive drums hit hard and a rapidly spinning arpeggio pours out shadow. The drums batter heavily and the choral voices keen, their haunted feeling increased by the spectral cry of a Theremin.

Dark, dense bass slabs shift and a glockenspiel comes in to add a tense shine. Metallic, mechanical noises and distant, brassy sounds add to the music’s desolate feeling. Hellish, writhing notes drift along before an knotted line of ghostly synth sings out in horror. The piano whirls in a darkly spinning dance that floats into static crackle, the massive drums throb and the chorus of tortured souls arcs into the music.
