Includes Chris Cagle's song list (in bold)

Hey Ya'll, I've been thinking it was time I shared another country music star with you. Well, Look What I Found, cowboy Chris Cagle! You Might Want to Think About It before listening to his music, but I guarantee Chicks Dig It and guys will too!

Don't Ask Me No Questions until I'm done with this article. I will then answer Everything you want to know.

I'd Be Lying if I didn't mention that Chris Cagle's sultry ballads could literally melt an unlit candle. He has a gift of captivating sold out concerts with his seductive smile and playful lyrics.

There is always a Ton Of Love tossed in his direction from awe-struck fans. He shouts to the applauding audience to, Dance Baby Dance!

Chances are there is always a Maria in the crowd of admirers. The Southern Girl wearing the Little Sundress, that makes you think, Now I Know What Mama Meant.

The Safe Side is not part of Maria's world. She's a Caglehead groupie. Groupie's prefer to Rock The Boat, even in a Wal-Mart Parking Lot. It's wise to let Maria be and Thank God She Left The Whiskey! Something That Wild just needs to be tamed.

As security leads Maria off the premises she sobs, Are You Ever Gonna Love Me?

I Breathe In, I Breathe Out and make a mental note, not go anywhere near her granny panties that she tossed onstage.

Chris Cagle I Breathe In, I Breathe Out #1 Hit

Caglehead's Unite for Chris Cagle

Chris Cagle has been a part of the country music industry since 2000. His tunes are known as Redneck Rock n Roll, but he's all Country By The Grace Of God. Born in Deridder, Louisiana Chris was always a country boy at heart. He moved around a lot, but he knew he wanted to be Anywhere but Here.

Chris dropped of college after one year and moved to Nashville. He knew It Takes Two and between his looks and talent he had Just Enough to be a shining star.

I could only imagine what was going through Chris' head, such as...When I Get There, I'm going to Play It Loud! I'm going to write music about how My Life's Been a Country Song. I'll be Pouring Good Whiskey On The Past and most important is Let There Be Country Girls!

Chris Cagle had to struggle a bit before hitting it big. He worked for a few years as a bartender and waiter. He was also a nanny to three little girls for a few months. I'm sure he was a great nanny, but he was probably thinking, I'll Grown My Own one day. Which he did in 2010 and 2011, with the birth of his daughters Stella and Piper.

His daughters taught him how to "man up" instantly. He dreads the day he has to give their hand in marriage.

In 2010 he met the love of his life, his wife Kay in Oklahoma, where he went to rediscover himself. He had a Change Me attitude. Chris was burned out and needed a break.

Chris was married from 2001-2003 to a school teacher. Even though he vowed he would never marry again he did. His new life is his happy place. It's like he was Never Ever Gone to Cagleheads, but What a Beautiful Day when Chris Cagle returned with new tunes.

Quote from Chris Cagle

Chris: "I'm a lot like charcoal. Once you light me up I'll burn hot for a long, long time, but if you pour water on me it takes a little effort to get me started again."

Sunshine: Amen!

More about Chris Cagle

Ask Chris what's Growin' Love in his heart and he'll tell you family, ranch and music. Those are his top priorities. A Love Between a Woman and a Man could move mountains. Chris built his families homestead nail by nail. He could proudly say Look At What I've Done.

When there is a solid foundation to build on such as Lovin' You Lovin' Me even a cowboy who was once as rowdy as a redneck could simmer down. Who Needs the Whiskey or wild nights in Laredo, when he could have a Night On The Country on his own ranch.

Having 5 CD's, two gold albums, two #1 albums, 12 charted songs under his brass belt buckle I think Chris Cagle definitely Got My Country On.

I've been a fan since 2000 and I'm sure Chris is thinking, It's Good To Be Back, because on behalf of cagleheads everywhere we agree and say YEEHAW! Chris had once said, "when he's happy, he smiles through the radio." You Still Do That To Me.

Christy! Thanks for the share!!

Linda Bilyeu (author) from Orlando, FL on November 10, 2012:

Hey RC, I'm thinking Caglehead might have come from Parrothead. Our heads are thinking alike, again!! To me country music lately is sounding more like wtf? It's nice when artists stick with their genres. Thanks for stopping by!

Christy Birmingham from British Columbia, Canada on November 05, 2012:

I like the richness of his voice! I have heard Got My Country On but did not know he sings this one. Now I do :) Vote up and going to share on FB too.

Devika Primić from Dubrovnik, Croatia on November 01, 2012:

Rich from Kentucky on October 23, 2012:

Would've swore I commented here before. Oh well, so I'm losing it with age. Not a Caglehead, but do enjoy some of his work. So much of country music is sounding the same anymore. Really beginning to miss many of the old artists. Great hub as always Linda! I wonder, could "Caglehead" be a takeoff on the Jimmy Buffett "Parrothead" concept? lol

Linda Bilyeu (author) from Orlando, FL on October 23, 2012:

Daisy, I'm due for another cowboy hub. One day, when time permits. Thanks for visiting Chris Cagle again.

Linda Bilyeu (author) from Orlando, FL on October 23, 2012:

Alecia, I agree. Chris Cagle never did give up on his dreams, he just took a short hiatus and came back swinging!:)

moonlake from America on September 27, 2012:

Funny you should have Chris Cagle in your hub. We use to have weight watchers at the Holiday Inn. One day we ladies were standing in line and Chris Cagle came walking towards us. My friend who never says anything said "Oh my a cowboy." He had his hat on and tipped his hat to all of us fat ladies. He was here for the Hodag Country Fest.

Enjoyed your hub. Voted uP!

Linda Bilyeu (author) from Orlando, FL on September 16, 2012:

Very true RC, it works best on paper. Luckily Chris Cagle has some awesome song titles for me to work with or else it wouldn't have worked out as well. Gotta watch out for those Maria's! :)

Linda Bilyeu (author) from Orlando, FL on September 16, 2012:

Hi Mary, I'm glad to hear you like Chris' voice :)

Rich from Kentucky on September 15, 2012:

Very clever! I did something similar years ago in comedy where I wrote a closing statement using the names of rock bands. Found out quick that something like that works much better on paper than when performing live, especially to drunks! lol

Great Job.... as always! Enjoyed!

Mary Hyatt from Florida on September 15, 2012:

I never heard of this guy, but I'm "out of the loop" on modern singers and country music. You did a great job with this one, and I have to admit I kinda like his voice.

The way you put these letters to your readers together, using the song titles, is absolutely amazing and screams of your creativity.

No one does it like Sunshine. And to think you do it all so effortlessly and smoothly... just like it's 2nd nature to you.....and when it comes to C&W artists, I think it IS 2nd nature to you!!!.............UP+++

Georgie Lowery from North Florida on September 15, 2012:

Ha! I second the clever vote! Your Hub reminds me of a challenge I did years ago. I hate Iron Maiden and one of my best friends hated Metallica. We had to take as many titles of the band we didn't like and work them into a poem! I will have to check out Christ Cagle. I love country music that doesn't suck! :)

Daisy Mariposa from Orange County (Southern California) on September 15, 2012:

What a very clever article! It must have been a challenge to write it.
