The Jackson family begins performing as the older brothers, and Michael later joins at the age of five. Michael’s mother heard him sing, and she knew he was a gifted young man.

She asks Joseph to allow Michael to join the group. Under Katherine's influence, the group allowed Michael to rehearse with the panel, and he became the group lead vocalist.

Houston loves singing in church as a little girl. She was able to win over the listeners early in her life. New Hope Baptist Church significantly affected Whitney singing, and it was there where she realized her singing ability was a blessing that God had given her.

At the age of 15, Houston began performing with her mother and was discovered to start teenage modeling. She also was the first Black teen female to grace the cover of Seventeen magazine. However, singing was where her heart belongs.

In 1985, Houston decided to try her wings; she released her first album, Whitney Houston. It was a big hit immediately, and she was able to soar very high on number one hit like Saving All My Love for You" and "How Will I Know."

Houston reached the highest chart and stayed for 14 straight weeks. In 1986, she won her first Grammy for "Saving All My Love for You."

In 1987, Houston did a follow-up album, it as well went platinum and won a Grammy for her famous song "I Wanna Dance with Somebody (Who Loves Me)."

Houston develops into an overnight sensation, a big star and a force to be reckoned with. She was living her dream, and she knew she wants to do her part to help as many as possible. Therefore, she did concerts that support projects to help disadvantaged children all over the world.

In 1992, Houston surprised the world and married R&B singer Bobby Brown. She had a lot going on at this time, a successful world tour following and crossing over successfully into acting with opposite Kevin Costner in The Bodyguard.

The project set a trend for Houston, and the soundtracks create outstanding record sales. The Bodyguard, soundtrack "I Will Always Love You," was the biggest hit ever for Houston, earning a record-breaking 14 weeks top of the U.S. charts.

The Bodyguard soundtrack also earns Houston three Grammys and Album of the Year as well as Record of the Year. Houston also starred in films like Waiting to Exhale and The Preacher's Wife, they both were put together with hit soundtracks. In spite, all this monumental success Houston begin developing personal troubles.

Despite growing personal concerns, Houston continued to progress in her career. In 1998, Houston created “My Love was Your Love,” the first album in several years.

Houston earns another Grammy for the single "It is Not Right, but it is Okay." However, the album did not make Houston the accomplishment her previous releases. So Houston came up with a plan by partnering with Mariah Carey to create a hit single for "When You Believe," which earned an Academy Award.

By the early 2000s, Houston was the most significant female vocalist of all times but her married struggles with rumors of drugs. The rumors began to ruin her career.

Nonetheless, Houston has been chosen and gifted she will always be the best singer. In 2006, the Guinness World Records named her the most talented female artist of all time.

On March 4, 1993, Houston gave birth to a beautiful baby girl and named her Bobbi Kristina Brown. Houston tried to repair her married for several years but after a failed attempt and taking a break from her career she won sole custody of Bobbi Kristina. In 2007, she divorced Brown.

In 2012, Houston film a musical called “Sparkle” with Jordin Sparks which was a remake of the 1976 movie about an all-girl vocal group related to the Supremes.

Unfortunately, Houston did not live to see the grand opening to her reach accomplishment; she died on February 11, 2012. Although Houston passed away in a confusing way she was fearless and lived her life as she desired, she was not ashamed of the life she lived.

God chose Whitney; she did not have a choice. Every time she graced the stage with her lovely voice, millions of people felt God’s love being shared to them through her. Although many did not understand her love, she loved hard and strived to deal with the heavyweight she carried on her shoulder. This is the burden of being one of God’s chosen person.

Yes, the duties and the responsibilities she carried was a heavy burden to her, but she desired to show grace to others. Whitney understood love, and she loved so much more than just her loved ones. She even loved those who did not deserve her love because she knew love manifests the presence of Christ.

Being a chosen vessel of God would require you to know your identity and abilities to serve your purpose in God's plan. The problem many chosen vessels face is the lack of knowledge about their identity and capabilities. As a chosen vessel, you owe your life solely to God.

To create balance in your life as a chosen vessel, you must be aware of the pros and cons that you face. Yes, there are more disadvantages than advantages in being God’s steward.

However, God inspires His chosen vessels and instills in them outstanding talent and skill for them to cope with for what He plans for them to do. Being a child of Jesus Christ gives many responsibilities to humanity, but as a chosen vessel of God, you have many duties and setbacks to encounter.

As believers in Jesus Christ, it is essential that we recognize and know who not we are so we don't fall into the trap set by the devil.

The devil tricked Adam and Eve in the past because they doubted their born identities; we must not allow history to repeat itself and prevent this from happening by holding tightly to our faith in God. To learn our true identity and abilities, we must seek and find them through Jesus Christ and our spiritual side.

Looking into an ordinary mirror is not enough to see our spiritual side and only God’s mirror can help us view things clearly. God’s mirror is the word of God. Spending the time to learn about God’s chosen vessels can help us avoid many setbacks and disadvantages from being a chosen vessel. In this way, we would get to enjoy life with all our favorites, abundances, and continued prosperity.

God has various chosen vessels and numerous who still exists in this world. Ms. Whitney Houston was one of God’s chosen people with a talent that will never be forgotten.

Mr. Michael Jackson is another chosen vessel that walked the earth in a way that no one will ever be able to measure up to.

These two vessels were the best of God’s chosen ones. However, the question is, did they know their true identity? Did they know their real abilities? I know that they both knew their talent and that talent was to share the gift of love as well as to give the best of their efforts to the world.

They both did that and brought happiness to many each time they graced the stage. They both was the best at what they did, and many loved them.

Did they both make the most out of being a chosen vessel or did the curse chase both of them down? Well, that is yet to be determined, only God can decide that.

Personally, I feel they did many goods and helped many through their talent. Whitney and Michael were two chosen vessels, and God enriched them with talent so that they could help other people overcome life’s challenges.

Let’s remember Jesus Christ and that he was perfect in every way. Whitney and Michael were both flesh and blood that were chosen by God to serve as sponsors to many.

Jesus Christ demonstrated His perfect love for us by supplying our greatest need. Whitney and Michael were role models to other people. They spent their entire lives blessing others, and this is the reason God continuously blessed them spiritually. They shall serve as inspirations to many generations to come.

Michael joins the group, and it became a member of five which gave the group the name Jackson 5. The team consists of Tito, Jermaine, Jackie, Marlon, and Michael.

Michael vocal impressed the audiences because he shared incredible sound and depth for such a young entertainer. He had a strong ability to convey complex emotion with the fans.

However, with Joseph pushing the group to spend endless hours rehearsing the Jackson 5 played regional shows and developed strong support. Joseph assists the Jackson 5 to record a single called Big Boy" and also "You've changed “but it fails to attract much attention.

The Jackson 5 progressed on to begin working with legendary Motown performers like Gladys Knight and the Pips, James Brown and Sam and Dave. They were the reason in which the Jackson 5 signed the label with Motown in 1968.

However, Michael performed Motown television special and debuted his number one hit "Billie Jean." Michael "Thriller" video remained on top for 80 weeks, maintaining the No. 1 recognition for 37 weeks. "Thriller" accumulated 12 Grammy Award nominations, winning eight.

In London, Michael decides to show sequences of concerts as his "final curtain call." There was a rumor that Michael was of poor health, and the singer would not be able to handle a series of shows in London.

However, despite all of the allegations, Jackson spent endless hours rehearsing getting ready for a series of shows. Unfortunately, Michael Jackson did not get to encounter the awaited finishing point of his "final curtain call.

On June 25, 2009, Jackson experienced a heart attack in which CPR was administered, but the CPR attempts failed, he was rushed to the hospital but died later that morning at the age of 50.

Michael was chosen by God, and he had no choice but to submit to God’s will. He strived daily to give what God wanted, His undying love through Michael.

This is the reason Michael made it to the top, the reason his songs are just legendary. Because he was placed under so many conditions, he felt that he had to step up for everyone.

Stress, lack of sleep and other problems arose because he wanted to maintain his full potential at all times. He also loved hard. He gave everything and wanted to help many, especially children; He wants them to feel loved because he understood the importance of being loved.

Most people would not be able to do what Whitney and Michael did for the world. They gave not only grace and entertainment; they gave God’s love to many.

Since God chose them both, they understood the profound meaning of God’s love. God’s love, to them, strengthened them as they traveled the world to perform in front of large audiences.

As God chosen Vessel, I understand the pain and hurt Whitney and Michael occurred. I know the love they both shared and how God demonstrated His love for them.

To know Michael and Whitney through social media, or in person, Whitney and Michael had done a lot of good deeds for people who were in need. No one will deny his or her goodwill and universal love. That love will continue to shine through their music for many generations to come.

Although America has presented a lot of talented African-American celebrities, Michael and Whitney are chosen vessels no one will ever be able to measure up to or process the impact these chosen vessels shared with the world.

It is no secret that the Jackson Five was one of the most talented groups ever to grace the stage. However, none of Michael’s brother developed his talent or was chosen in a leadership role like him.

Ephesians 1:4 (NIV) For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight.

In love, God will help his chosen vessels to accomplish the task he called them to do. What separates Michael from his brothers is the grace bestowed upon him by God.

What separates Whitney from the world is that she accepted her calling as God’s vessel. Thus, the grace bestowed upon her did not die in vain.

However, there was a purpose in her calling. After she was able to complete her mission as God’s vessel, she left this earthly land and rose, in spirit, back to the heavenly Father. Now she is resting in peace and eternal love.

Hopefully, we will all learn to be careful about how we treat each other. Treat each other with love and respect because we never know what tremendous impact our inadequate treatment can do to a person.

In short, we must accept that there are still chosen vessels that walk this earth. Let us love and enjoy them while they are here because we never know when God may kiss the life out of them and allow them to return to their chosen home.
