Short Review:

Brilliant Legacy is a makjang worth watching. Makjang is a Korean slang used for television dramas that have over-the-top, borderline ridiculous scenes and plotlines to appeal to the masses. Just like any makjang dramas out there, each scene of Brilliant Legacy is very intense. What separates it from other makjang dramas is that even though a lot of misunderstandings and ridiculous events have happened in the series, it doesn’t feel overdone and the plot is very consistent. It may start slow but by the 6th or 7th episode, you will surely get hooked. The romance is also a slow burn, but that is the charm of the series.

Short Review:

Cute is the best word to describe My Girlfriend Is A Gumiho. It was considered as one of the classics and a lot of people named it as the drama that made them a Kdrama fan. Its refreshing plot and the lead couple’s chemistry is very appealing. Shin Min Ah’s cuteness and innocence as the gumiho (nine-tailed fox) is really endearing to watch and of course, Lee Seung Gi also nailed his role as a university student who got involved with her.

Short Review:

Lee Seung Gi’s second project with Bae Suzy, Vagabond is the true definition of an action television drama. Its action sequences are very detailed and the fact that Lee Seung Gi himself did his own stunts is also amazing. The cinematography of the drama is also worthy of praise since it is of very high quality. Story-wise; Vagabond promises heart-wrenching scenes and mind-boggling twists. You’re All Surrounded is an all-packed makjang series. Comedy, action, thriller, drama, romance – name it and you can bet that this series has it all. Its writing was so good, and its plot was very consistent and coherent. You will be shocked and flustered by its twists and turns, and you will either love or hate the characters to death. What kind of love story will these two interesting figures make?

Short Review:

King 2 Hearts is one of the best Korean dramas in 2012. With its intriguing plot and superb cast, the drama has crept into the hearts of South Koreans and international fans as well.

One of the things that made the drama very appealing is the character development of each character in the story. The writer truly invested a lot of effort and time on this and she didn’t disappoint. Other than that, the cast's performances also deserve a round of applause. Lee Jae Ha is a well-written character and Lee Seung Gi has truly portrayed him well. Ha Ji Won also did a very good job at portraying the duality of Kim Hang Ah. The relationship between this couple is also very heart-warming. They may had a cliché cat-dog relationship at first, but their love blossomed and developed beautifully. Even though their life as a couple is not filled with rainbows and cupcakes, the way they support each other as partners is very encouraging. Seeing them on the screen makes you want to get married immediately.
