Cute is the best word to describe My Girlfriend Is A Gumiho. It was considered as one of the classics and a lot of people named it the drama that made them a Kdrama fan. Its refreshing plot and the lead couple’s chemistry is very appealing. Shin Min Ah’s cuteness and innocence as the gumiho (nine-tailed fox) is endearing to watch and of course, Lee Seung Gi also nailed his role as a university student who got involved with her.

She met Son Oh Gong again years later and because of some circumstances, he was bound to love her and protect her at all cost.
Hwayugi’s plot is very captivating with its perfectly woven scenes and twists. The push-pull relationship of the main couple and their tragic fairytale-like love story is really what made the drama very interesting. Watching the series is a bitter-sweet experience. Each scene tugs at your heartstrings in pain, but you can’t stop craving for more. Hwayugi is truthfully one of the best romantic fantasy Korean dramas out there.

Gu Family Book has a fairytale-like plot that satisfies the inner romantic in you. The ending was also perfect with no loose ends, and the characters are very lovable. Lee Seung Gi can indeed pull off the fantasy genre unlike any other. He was very impressive at being the nine-tailed fox in this drama, and her chemistry with Bae Suzy was very intense that they won the MBC Best Couple Award in 2013 for their roles here.

- Lee Seung Gi as Lee Jae Ha
- Ha Ji Won as Kim Hang Ah
- Jo Jung Suk as Eun Shi Kyung
Lee Jae Ha is the spoiled easy-going prince of South Korea’s monarchy. Kim Hang Ah is a legendary North Korean elite Special Forces soldier who seems very tough outside but is very pure inside and has never fallen in love ever in her life. They met in the joint North-South Korean military training as subordinates and immediately hated each other. What kind of love story will these two interesting figures make?
King 2 Hearts is one of the best Korean dramas in 2012. With its intriguing plot and superb cast, the drama has crept into the hearts of South Koreans and international fans as well.
One of the things that made the drama very appealing is the character development of each character in the story. The writer truly invested a lot of effort and time on this and she didn’t disappoint. Other than that, the cast's performances also deserve a round of applause. Lee Jae Ha is a well-written character and Lee Seung Gi has perfectly portrayed him. Ha Ji Won also did an outstanding job at portraying the duality of Kim Hang Ah. The relationship between this couple is also very heart-warming. They may have a cliché cat-dog relationship at first, but their love blossomed and developed beautifully. Even though their life as a couple is not filled with rainbows and cupcakes, the way they support each other as partners is very encouraging. Seeing them on the screen makes you want to get married immediately.

Brilliant Legacy is a makjang worth watching. Makjang is a Korean slang used for television dramas that have over-the-top, borderline ridiculous scenes and plotlines to appeal to the masses. Just like any makjang dramas out there, each scene of Brilliant Legacy is very intense. What separates it from other makjang dramas is that even though a lot of misunderstandings and ridiculous events have happened in the series, it doesn’t feel overdone and the plot is very consistent. It may start slow but by the 6th or 7th episode, you will surely get hooked. The romance is also a slow burn, but that is the charm of the series.

You’re All Surrounded is an all-packed series. Comedy, action, thriller, drama, romance; name it, and you can bet that this series has it all. Its writing was so good, and its plot was consistent and coherent. You will be shocked by its twists and turns, and you will either love or hate the characters to death.
