Behold! 1st Trailer of 'Star Wars: The Mandalorian' Season 2 Is out With Full Season Around the Corner

The official premiere date of season 2 of 'The Mandalorian' is on October 30th and finally the first trailer of the season is out … and after watching, can't wait for the full movie.

The first of the live-action series of Star Wars franchise, it's set five years after Return of the Jedi events and follows the title character of a Mandalorian bounty hunter who's named Din Djarin who exploits beyond the New Republic.

The search for the home planet of Baby Yoda continues in The Mandalorian Season 2. Disney+ has debuted the first look of the most anticipated sophomore season set to grace the silver screen on Oct. 30, on Tuesday. In the upcoming season Mondo, also known as Din Djarin (played by Pedro Pascal), and the Child confront new terrains, meet new people, and face new threats in search of the elusive creature's true origins within the Star Wars universe.

The plot can be read here, consisting of eight episodes with a premier scheduled for October 30, 2020. Pre-production of the potential third season has already begun in April 2020.

Who are The Mandalorians?

The Mandalorians belong to a clan that lives on ethics and comprises members coming from multiple species bound by a common creed, culture, and code. The original inhabitants of the planet Mandalore on the outer rim territory of the galaxy have a very important role in the galactic history of legendary warriors against The Jedi. From their homeland, they have flourished not only in the Mandalorian Space, but the galaxy at large and colonized words such as Concord Dawn, Krownest, and Kalevala. Mandalore had a great martial history, but after the Mandalorian Civil War, the pacifist sentiment began emerging, and, by the Clone Wars time, they had reformed under Duchess Satine Kryze (House Kryze) of the new Mandalorian regime. With the old mandalorians scattered as mercenaries across the galaxy.

The Child or better known as 'Baby Yoda' by the fans and media, is a character from Star Wars: The Mandalorian season 2, an original television series on Disney+. He is the infant member of an unnamed alien species as was the Star Wars Yoda character and shares a strong ability in the Force as well. In the series, we will see the protagonist Din Djarin or 'The Mandalorian', as he's popularly known in the series is hired to track down bring the Child as it is the remaining descendant of the Fallen Galactic Empire, but instead of bringing him in, he becomes his adoptive father protecting from the imperials.

While the trailer is the most awaited regarding the upcoming season, another much-awaited event is WWE's Sasha Banks' cameo. It might be only one minute and 52-seconds, but it's the most intriguing parts, not to be missed. It's a total blinks-and-miss glance as Banks appears in her Jedi-Esque black robe with hooded character, identity yet to be known. Halfway through the trailer Banks says "This is the way”.

No doubt the WWE Universe is on a blaze after this exciting news from the WWE Women's Champion. Banks even posted a poster with her look on her Instagram account.

Facts about season 1

The Mandalorian season 1 got 15 Emmy nominations with one in the Outstanding Drama Series section. The first series of the original television series on Disney saw no competition and topped the charts on its debut and ran strong. The witty dialogue and the memes of 'Baby Yoda' took social media in its stride.

Season 2 filming commenced in October last year and concluded in March this year. Michael Biehn of the Terminator fame is expected to essay a bounty hunter with Rosario Dawson playing Ashoka Tano (not certain yet) from The Clone Wars and Rebels Series.


At a time when the world is on its knees in front of a virus and everyone is either confined to home life or battling death as they go out what better than watch a lone gunslinger take on the world and win against all odds against mighty enemies in the StarWars Universe with that Alderan and "wretched hive of scum and villainy and yes it's going to be available on the favourite streaming platform Disney+.
