Krishna has been a fan of Korean pop music for almost 10 years. She loves exploring good music with deep and meaningful lyrics.

The popular South Korean boy group BTS also known as Bangtan Sonyeondan or simply Bangtan Boys released the BE album on November 20, 2020. The seven boys who are loved all over the world and the first-ever Asian group to receive a Grammy nomination, heavily participated in the writing and production of their songs in their BE album.

This wonderful album mostly focused on the effects of the pandemic caused by Covid-19 and how they as a group could give out hope to people all around the world through their music. Here are the most inspiring lyrics from the album:

1. Life Goes On

Antonina Armato, Chris James, J-Hope, Pdogg, RM, Ruuth, Suga

Due to pandemic, everyone's life and progress seem to stop for a while. BTS reassures us that it is okay to stop for a while, and take a break but don't give up on our dreams. After all, amid this pandemic and problems that we are going through, life still goes on. Remember, some things may have changed, but there is still more that life can offer.

2. Fly to My Room

Performed by:

Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V

Cosmo's Midnight, J-Hope, Joe Femi Griffith, RM, Suga

Cosmo's Midnight

This is the perfect song to encourage people who are living in isolation especially those who are confined in their rooms and are not encouraged to see other people. BTS is telling us that we can change our perspective about confinement in our rooms and that we can still be productive during isolation. There are many things that we can only do while alone and with this much free time. So get going and be productive, embrace the emotions and feelings that only you can experience while still in isolation.

3. Blue and Grey

Hiss Noise, J-Hope, Ji Soo Park, Levi, Metaphor, RM, Suga, V

RM gives us the assurance that it is okay to embrace loneliness once in a while. It is all right to feel sad and accept those feelings. The more we try to escape our own emotions and not deal with it, the more we actually suffer. It is okay to embrace the pain that we are feeling because only then we can fully let go. One more thing, even in sadness, remember that we are not alone.

4. Telepathy

El Capitxn, Hiss Noise, Jung Kook, RM, Suga

El Capitxn, Hiss Noise

Even with the distance, it is time to reach out to our loved ones more. BTS tells us that even if we are far away from each other physically, we are together by mind and heart. A whole new way of connecting with our loved ones during the pandemic is born. By giving out the emotional assurance that we are in this together (though not physically), BTS continues to spread and express their love through their music.

Also, they provide a gentle reminder to take our own pace in everything that we do - that is even in healing and loving.

5. Dis-ease

Ivan Jackson Rosenberg, J-Hope, Ghstloop, RM, Pdogg, Suga, Jimin, Randy Runyon

No one knows what the future holds or what tomorrow will be like, however, we can always control our lives by not giving up and always living out the days that we are given. Even amid all the struggles and pain, there is always another tomorrow to make things right. Don't give up. Even with a little spark, we should not extinguish our hope in living.

6. Stay

Performed by:

RM, Jin, Jungkook

Arston, Jin, Jung Kook, RM

The present is the greatest gift of all, that's why we should live it out wholeheartedly. Though we continue to miss other people, keep in mind to live in the moment. A few crises should not stop us from living out our best lives.

7. Dynamite

David Stewart, Jessica Agombar

A feel-good song for everyone all around the world. Lastly, always remember that you are a badass and you are a diamond just waiting to be sharpened so you can shine brighter! So live out life with funk and soul!
