BTS at Asia Music Awards
How I became part of the Army
I don't remember the exact date but it was in September 2018 when I came across few fan made videos of orient actors with Hindi movie songs, that's when I came across Ji Chang Wook, Mike D Angelo and some drama names. I was watching Healer and Destiny Delicious when I came across Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth and Kim Taehyung. Kim as Han Sung was so cute.
The after story of finding about BTS
Well, after completing the series, I saw the casts behind the scenes videos and cast interviews. From there I found Minho (as Soo-Hoo) is from a group called Shiney and Kim or V (as he's better known) is from BTS. When I found this info, after seeing V as the cute Han Sung and I had seen some K-pop videos so knew how the groups were great dancers and singers, trying to imagine V as a K-pop artist was just not happening.
First time saw V performing in a song
So I decided to search on YouTube and found V focus Fake love. OK, the performance was awesome. Then I noticed other boys going back and forth so decided to watch the official MV of Fake Love. Then I saw Save Me, Not Today and DNA. That was it and I became their official fan on Oct 13, 2018.

Is the Army their fans?
Then I kept on reading lines like: BTS performed in front of the Army. Army supports BTS and so…
OK, now reading the word "Army," you would say why do they always perform in front of the Army. Then I found from Google ARMY is their fandom's name and it stands for Adorable Representative MC For Youth. So, obviously if you are a devoted fan, you are an Army. But, once you begin to follow BTS, you realize a larger than life image exists between BTS and ARMY. Take a look at the video below:

Celeb fans and collaborations of BTS
The septet have fans not only in South Korea but across the globe and some well known celebs like John Cena, Camila Cabello, Joe James, Ed Sheeran, Halsey and Shawn Mendes are their fans as well. They have collaborated with Halsey (Boy With Love), The Chainsmokers (Best of Me) and with Steve Akoi (Mic Drop) as well.
The special bond between BTS And ARMY
Once you begin to follow BTS ardently you'll notice BTS and the ARMY share a special bond, much like a family. BTS never back out in expressing their love and what ARMY means to them. RM once said if their songs could reduce ARMY's pain from 100 to 99 even, their existence would be worthy. And once he said wherever you are, wherever we are, we are one. Jin said it's because of ARMY we exist. J-Hope recently said we have been together for seven years. He also said the ARMY is special for BTS.
Suga had told ARMY to keep their fourth finger empty as he was going to marry them. Everyone thought it was a joke but for Speak Yourself [The Final] Big Hit Entertainment released BTS/ARMY engraved rings. Four years later Suga was seen wearing the ring keeping his promise.

Jimin says ARMY is his hero and he can't live without them. V once said I purple you during the 3rd Muster Fan Event. A while later he told purple is the last color of the rainbow. He said purple means to trust and love for a long time. Then he said he made the trust line up but we purple you means BTS trusts and loves ARMY for a long time.
Since then 'purple you're, and the purple heart

BTS songs that inspire
BTS are a K-pop band and worldwide famous for their songs. To say their songs are the same as all is totally wrong. BTS are not famous for love songs or dances. The ARMY cherishes them because they have inspired them in one way or another. And the most important part of inspiration is their songs.
No More Dreams
It began with their 2013 intro track EP "O! RUL8, 2?," with reference to a medical scare the song reminds you not to take your life for granted. "No More Dreams" asks
Who are you living for?
My heart stopped when I was nine or ten.
Put your hand on your heart and ask what your dream was,
What it really was.”
RM also advises to never be late for what you want to do and if you are late (or, more L8), allow this to be your wake up call.
In the track N. O, the BTS talk about the education system injustice putting enormous pressure on the students to get into the best schools. BTS questions why put off your dreams? Why not say no? "Dope" is another track that inspires you to spend your time in something important rather than a party. One line from the song is
I worked all night, every day,
While you were out clubbing
Last but not least, over the seven years they have released 200+ songs till now. "Not Today" lyrics are really inspiring:
If you can’t fly, then run.
Today we will survive.
If you can’t run, then walk.
Today we will survive.
If you can’t walk, then crawl.

COVID-19 And BTS
COVID-19 has had a terrible effect on almost everyone's lives. The work loss and family loss has had its turmoil on all of us. The entertainment world has suffered as well. During this time BTS were not able to perform live, yet they still released "Dynamite" and brought smiles and hope across a million faces. "Dynamite" is their first complete English song, as before this and the new tracks are in Korean mixed with English lines or words.
Then they organized an online concert "BANG BANG CON The Live." In June 2020 they came face to face with 756,000 ARMY and the concert was scheduled for October 10th and 11th. With this, BTS showed a new way to perform during the COVID-19 phase. And, of course the messages BTS have kept on spreading to motivate the world during these hard times. One such message is in which they say they hope to give their listeners a message that we can endure this moment and find happiness in our lives and let our lives go on. They have also been posting positive messages for the people of the world.
BTS Message To The World
The BTS septet
The BTS septet comprises of the seven members: RM (Kim Namjoon), Jin (Kim Seokjin), J-Hope (Jung Ho-seok), Suga (Min Yoon-gi), Jimin (Park Jimin), V (Kim Taehyung) and Jungkook (Jeon Jungkook). The boys come from small towns and have worked hard for where they are today. No doubt, they have made history not only for South Korea but the world. They have given hope and inspired millions with ARMY becoming a big family that sees no border.
