Mabuhay ! Let the Whole World Know
Let the whole world know that Filipinos are musically inclined- people. Original Filipino Music ( OPM ) touches many listeners whether local and abroad. As it is said, Music is the soul-searching desire. Music is one of the most universal ways of expression in human life. Music is present in the everyday lives of people of all ages and from all cultures around the world. Music represents an enjoyable activity in and of itself, but its influence goes beyond simple amusement.
Anak” is a hard song to get right. I don’t know about other listeners but the important thing for me when it comes to “Anak” is to get the listeners to feel the song rather than just hear it. I don’t really know how to explain it better. If you try to listen it religiously you will feel differently.
This extraordinary musician, singer, writer and artist began his journey in music with astounding acceptance from clinging to the top place and went viral worldwide making historic progression from his hit song Anak or Child. Although largely in the limelight nowadays for his controversial love life, Freddie Aguilar was first celebrated for bringing pride to the country with the worldwide hit.
Music versus Brain
Music and the brain are interconnected to each other. It explores how music impacts brain function and the human behavior. This includes reducing stress, pain and symptoms of depression as well as improving cognitive and motor skills. Music can erase anger. Music can relieve one's pain. Music can heal a broken heart and above all, music can bridge the gap between misunderstanding.
What You Hear Is What You Feel
You may listen to this music as it played. Never mind the language at first. You may not understand what it says but this all I may say, you will surely understand its melody. What will your realization? How does it makes to you? Internalize.Bring back good thoughts and memories.
That is all about the song. I personally feel it rather than hear what it says.
Its impact on you. LISTEN TO IT
"Anak", The original Filipino Version
( Freddie Aguilar )
‘Nong isilang ka sa mundong ito
Laking tuwa ng magulang mo
At ang kamay nila ang yong ilaw
At ang nanay at tatay mo
Di malaman ang gagawin
Minamasdan pati pag tulog mo
Di man sila payag walang magagawa
