About the Song Heart Ereki and the Significance of the Music Video

Heart Electric was released on October 30, 2013 and there were several editions of this single. These included 4 regular editions, 4 limited editions and a theater edition as well. The music video for this song made a premiere appearance at an AKB48 handshake event at the Osaka Dome. The basic description for the video is that it is described as a group of girls that are competing for individuality in a group called “The G. Fingers.” The costume designs for all of the girls are described as being “Group Sounds Conscious.” The clothes for these AKB48 girls were designed with having red and blue colors in mind. Group sounds is a genre of Japanese rock music.

The choreography for Heart Ereki is rather simple because the girls are seen moving around mostly in their places or positions and they are not constantly moving around or changing their locations.

It may or may not be obvious that Heart Electric lyrically is about love. The song describes a love that is so strong that it is suffocating the person that is experiencing this love. In her search for that sort of lasting love, she becomes very frustrated. She knows that the blood is pumping through her body like crazy and she is determined to win over the man that is the love of her life and to never let her go. There is a rock guitar style interlude in this song. In spite of the lyrics, Heart Ereki is actually a song that has the potential to give off a good vibe. She wants to know whether he knows that he is being loved by her.
