  4. October Baby (2011)

1. Pivot Point (2011)

Pivot Point is a powerful drama that explores the journey of four teens and the deep emotional challenges they struggle with on their own. They eventually discover that their lives are connected in a way they never imagined. They all wish to go back and change one crucial event in time.

This film shows us how each small choice can have a positive or negative impact and can change the outcome of our entire lives and the lives of others. It is a real wake-up call about what teens go through and the challenges they must face within themselves.

2. Not Today (2013)

Not Today is a story about a wealthy 20-year-old who begins to care about the events in another country and culture. This film will impact a teen's heart and life.

Movies like these open our eyes to horrific events occurring elsewhere. It drives teens to take opportunities to be the answer to this problem and do something about it.

3. The Frontier Boys (2012)

This is a wonderful film for teenage boys, who have been close friends since they were little kids. Their friendship is threatened after an event takes place. One of them ends up in a coma, and the other has a secret he is keeping from the others.

The movie shows how things can change with the power of friends, family, and an understanding of God's grace. This is a powerful message for teens. This movie is filled with excitement, love for basketball, the importance of family and friends, and also telling the truth.

4. October Baby (2011)

October Baby is about a college student, Hannah. Her world is shattered when she realizes that her parents have kept a secret from her. She becomes so confused and angry that she does not know who she is anymore. This leads her to embark on a journey to find the answers to the questions that are troubling her. Her friend Jason is there for her.

As she searches, she discovers family secrets that help her understand the truth. This changes the course of her life and changes her as a person. Through this, she gains the strength to move on. This is a very powerful, touching movie.

5. Deadly Choice (1982)

Deadly Choice is about a young woman whose father, a doctor, finds out that she's pregnant. It's a very powerful drama about a doctor and his daughter facing the issue of abortion from different sides. They must both confront the issue head-on from differing viewpoints.

The movie shows the results of the choices that affect their entire lives. It presents the cost of each side. I have never seen a movie that really addresses the concerns of abortion, pregnancy, and adoption in such a bold way. This is a must-see for teens and parents.

We just saw Gimme Shelter and were moved beyond words at the life some teens are forced to live. It was such a touching movie about one girl's decision to stand up for her personal belief. I can see how this movie would be great for young teens, especially girls, to watch.
