Saitama looks like just another ordinary and unimpressive man, who has a unique passion for being a hero. Pursuing his childhood dream, he undergoes intense training for three years and in the process, loses all his hair. As a result, he is incredibly powerful now such that no one dares to stand a chance in front of him. The only thing he needs is his one punch and the enemy is rolling on the ground. However, he no longer enjoys battles as he can’t find a competitive opponent.

Everything changes for him when a 19-year-old cyborg named Genos wishes to become his disciple after watching him in action. He suggests him to join the Hero Association along with him so they can become certified heroes. After this, they’ll be recognized for their positive contributions to society. Hearing this shocks Saitama as he realizes no one knows him yet, so he agrees with Genos.
