Mei Misaki is the female protagonist of the series. She is labeled as ‘one that doesn’t exist’ by her classmates. She has mismatched irises as her left eye is prosthetic. She isn’t used to making mistakes, though she has a tendency of commenting trivial mistakes that’s due to the hereditary curse.

Kurome is the Akame’s younger sister. She and her sister were sold by their parents to the Empire to become assassins. Unlike her sister, Kurome is rather aloof and extremely ruthless on the battlefield. She doesn’t hesitate even for a moment to kill her enemies. She loves to play with the corpses of people she has assassinated. She keeps them like dolls and has a permanent collection of eight, whom she found to be powerful in battle.
11. Rory Mercury from Gate
Rory Mercury is a battle-freak demigoddess. She serves under Emroy, the god of death, crime, and war. For her, murder is not a sin, but a gateway to survival. She is actually 961 years old, but due to her ascendence to a living deity, she looks no more than 13 years old. Her main weapon is a Halberd, a combination of battleaxe and spear. She sometimes acts naughty and childish, but she is the most aggressive of all.
10. Ryuko Matoi from Kill la Kill
Ryuko Matoi is the protagonist of the series. Her main quest is to find the twin of her Scissor Blade and the person who used it to kill her father. She has a fierce and stubborn personality and rarely gets scared of anything. She is merciless when fighting with her opponents, but lets it slide when her opponents can’t fight back. She is naturally endowed with superhuman abilities. Her power increases when she accepts herself as a life-fiber hybrid and stops thinking within human limitations.

Akame is an assassin just like her younger sister Kurome. She appears cold-hearted and serious, but in reality, she is a socially awkward person. She is extremely protective of her comrades. She is very sensitive and equally merciless when it comes to killing her enemies. During her mission to assassinate former general Najenda, she ended up joining Night Raid to overthrow the corrupt monarchy of the Empire.
8. Satsuki Kiryuin from Kill la Kill
Satsuki Kiryuin is the president of Honnoji Academy, a high school and the primary setting of Kill la Kill. She is the elder sister of Ryuko Matoi. She is extraordinarily intelligent, patient, crafty, and iron-fisted. She blatantly calls people as pigs in human clothing. According to her, weak and foolish deserve to be ruled. Her natural charisma makes her a perfect leader to govern others.
7. Nico Robin from One Piece
Nico Robin is famously known as “Devil Child”. She is an archaeologist of the Start hat Pirates. She is the only person in the series to know, how to read and decipher Poneglyphs, a forbidden skill which is considered threatening to the World Government. She is intelligent and always maintains her composure in every situation. Her ability to foresee is an advantage for other people on the ship.

Yuko is a dimensional witch. She owns a shop where people visit to fulfill their wishes. Her main work involves dealing with supernatural beings. Many of her resolutions sound baseless at first but later are confirmed to be wise with respect to the plot. She is highly revered and a fun-loving lady. She is not open to expressing her feelings and keep most of her serious feelings to herself, which makes her a secretive character.
4. Kurumi Tokisaki from Date A Live
Kurumi is said to be the most dangerous spirit of the anime. She is known to have killed more than 10,000 people. Because of her brutal actions, she is often referred to as the Worst spirit. She is a difficult person to read. She dislikes humanity and is also a skilled actress. She can effortlessly behave like an ignorant and curious young girl whenever she needs to. However, later in the series, she is revealed to be a kind person.
3. Rukia Kuchiki from Bleach
Rukia is the captain of the 13th Division, the primary military branch of the Soul society. Her job is to slay the evil spirits called Hollows. She remains cool-headed and has a lone demeanor, which forces her to conceal her personal troubles. She is good at how to make things work in her way and how to smoothly get out of the troubles. She loves to climb high places. She is a decisive and practical person. Her thought about human bodies is invariably phenomenal, “We must never shed tears. The body is defeated by the heart. For us, this thing we call ‘the heart’ becomes nothing but a mere proof of one’s existence being superfluous”.
2. Hinata Hyuga from Naruto
Hinata was considered to be too weak by her father and thus, lost the position as heiress of the Hyuga clan. It was after her membership with Team 8, a ninja team, she vowed to become stronger. Mikasa is an orphan and the last descendant of the Shogun clan. Though she wishes to live a peaceful life, she entered the military and becomes the best soldier in the 104th Training Corps. Earlier she is shown as a gentle and cheerful child. But later, growing up in the military, she embraces a stoic personality. She is dangerous and emotionally detached. She never seems to lose her cool no matter how hopeless the situation is.
