About Ansatsu Kyoushitsu (Assassination Classroom)

The moon is mysteriously chopped to a permanent crescent by an unknown creature. Meanwhile, in the Kunugigaoka Middle School, students of class 3-E are assigned the heavy task of protecting the Earth before it meets a similar fate. To do so, they have to find and assassinate that unknown creature.

Koro-sensei (meaning the indestructible teacher) is found guilty and is considered as the real monster. But the problem is he can fly at an extremely fast speed such that the students can’t even touch him. However as they learn more about Koro-sensei, they began to realize that he’s the best teacher they could ever have.

Ansatsu Kyoushitsu is a humorous story of junior high students who are working hard to stand strong against oppressive school rules, their own life dilemmas, and most importantly, Koro-sensei.

If you have watched the anime, you know how it twists in the latter half. It’s tough to leave behind such an enigmatic anime when you are still hungry for more.

Koudo Ikusei Senior High School is a utopia to the outsiders as it is ranked as the number one prestigious institute in the country. The students are divided into four classes from A to D according to their merit. Among them, only class A receives favorable treatment while D is treated as mere garbage.

Kiyotaka Ayanokouji is a Class D student with an extraordinary mind, but he never shows off and thus, intentionally threw himself into the lowest ranking class. He apparently befriends other class D students among whom are the unsociable Suzune Horikita and idol Kikyou Kushida.

While students have to stick together with the same classmates until their final year, their class rankings are not fixed. The story follows the struggle of Class D students on how they deal with other class members’ pranks and reach at the top despite being called the worst.

Unable to trust Yuri’s words about Tenshi, Otonashi decides to talk to Tenshi by himself. However, the meeting doesn’t go as planned and he returns to Yuri. Now having full faith in Yuri, Otonashi joins the battle to fight against Tenshi, but he begins to feel infatuated with her.

Angel Beats! follows the afterlife of Otonashi, who is trying to regain his lost memories while helping the angels of another world.
