About Kino no Tabi: The Beautiful World (Kino’s Journey)

A 15-year-old traveler named Kino is in friendship with Hermes, a talking motorcycle. Together, they tour the lands and visit different countries and places, with no clue where to stop. After all, life is nothing but an endless journey filled with uncertainties.

On their journey, they learn about various customs, some are tragic while others are fascinating. They also encounter various interesting people, some of them live to work, some of them live for others while the remaining ones live to live their dreams. Every country they visit offers them something new about the culture and people.

It’s not for them to decide if any tradition or rule is wrong or right, they just witness the activities and make the best of the moment. They strongly believe “World is not beautiful, therefore it is.”

The anime follows the life of Kaiba, who finds himself alone in a room with no memories. He has a hole in his chest and a locket that has a picture of an unknown woman. After escaping from the mysterious place, he begins his journey to discover his identity and learn more about the woman.
