Money Makes the world Go round
Well nowadays, most people agree to it and that's the saddest part. Money can be defined as anything that is accepted as payment for goods and services and debts. It is the medium of exchange. Money is the way to get the power to do what you want.
If you got money, you can buy a lot of things you want and you know everything would be a whole lot easier. Money has a big effect on people, they can lie ,cheat or even kill just because of money. Even our government becomes greedy and use other people for money. How sad but no doubt, Yes, it is happening today in our society.
Money is very much like drugs, the more you get the more you want to have.People are racing with each other to become richer and successful day by day and due to this they have become self centered and materialistic.
Money can buy every THING that's definitely true. But LOVE, KNOWLEDGE, HEALTH, HOME, TIME, DIGNITY IS NOT A THING.
There is a popular saying that, with money, it can buy you house but not a HOME; With money it can buy a book but not the KNOWLEDGE; With money you can buy a clock but not the TIME; With money you can buy a doctor but not the HEALTH; With money it can buy a position but not the RESPECT; With money you can buy sex but not the LOVE; And oh, I wanna add something, with money you can buy a person but not his DIGNITY.
It is easy to get caught in the trap of wanting so many things we really don't need that we tend to forget that the best things in life are free. Just look at the beautiful creations of God created for our viewing.
Ask yourself, can money really buy the happiness that your heart truly desires?

Two things money can't buy: Creativity and laughter! Granted, it's hard to be creative and laugh when you are worried about paying the bills. I have read, in this society, if you have enough money for your basic "needs" and a little extra, that's enough to be happy. They have done studies: More money than that does NOT lead to more happiness...just more stuff.....

only broke folks buy into that senseless babble. money is where its at....duh!

I think you've outlined some pretty important things. Money can buy a lot of "things", but it cannot ever satisfy the need for what truly matters and brings genuine happiness.

In my thought, without money we can't servived in the world.for servival we need money and the money is the only thing to fulfil all desirations and as we live in a materialistic world so only need is money no emotions love etc.......
JP Carlos from Quezon CIty, Phlippines on April 07, 2011:
I never believed that money is the root cause of all evil. However, it's the lack of money that makes people resort to drastic measures.
James Bowden from Long Island, New York on April 06, 2011:
I just wanted to say a wonderfully written topic on what life is really all about. You hit the nail right on the head. Sometimes money even though essential can buy nothing but heartache and despair. You certainly have the right approach. Money cannot buy or replace the emotional things that we need as humans. Feelings for example. We do live in a materialistic world. It is a shame that more of us do not realize this and try to live more happily with each other, without utilizing money as the equation or source of all happiness. In addition remember that Gods book the Bible states the simple and essential things of life as being essential to all humans on earth...Food, Clothing and Shelter. simply said, and you do not have to be a man of God to practice this. Thanks again for sharing this wonderful Hub with all.
