Five Different Ways To Say Bye in Spanish

One way of learning anything new is to take it in small bits. Therefore, here I will introduce you to five common ways of how to say bye in Spanish.

Then, below it, there will be a fun quiz to see how much you can remember.

This is for fun and so don't sweat the small stuff! If you do not ace it the first time, then try it again and again until you do. Practice makes perfect.

1.Adiós (a-dhee-os). Very popular farewell greeting meaning farewell or goodbye. If you have the chance to be around Mexican's speaking Spanish, you will hear it used all the time.

2. Hasta luego (a-sta loo-ay-go) Also a common Spanish farewell greeting meaning "See you later" or "Until later".

3. Hasta mañana (a-sta man-yan-a) "See you tomorrow" or "Until tomorrow".

4. Que le vaya bien! (k la viya bee en) Used very frequently when someone is departing. It means "That things (should) go well for you or I hope that things will go well for you."

5. Me voy. This translates to "I'm off" or "I'm going."

Five More Ways To Sendoff In Spanish

6. Hasta pronto. See you soon. Similar to Hasta luego and also a popular sendoff.

7. Hasta la vista. See you when we next meet or until we meet again.

8. Que tenga un buen dia. Have a nice day. (one that I use often)

9. Nos vemos. See you later! or We'll see each other (soon).

10. Hasta la proxima. Until next time.
