While the state has only been fatal to humans on extremely rare occasions it still has earned the jellyfish the name 'floating terror'. While including the man-of-war on this list may be cheating because of its small frame, merely 6- 12 inches, we added it due to its extremely long tentacles. These painful tentacles have been known to extend downwards of up to 165 feet into the water.

This size would make it the largest dinosaur ever to walk on land. Due to its extremely large size, this enormous beast could only move approximately 5 miles an hour and would leave a path of devastation behind it.
