What really is a sense of humor? Mostly explained as an ability to observe the ludicrous aspects of common events and notions instantly and unconsciously.
We all must have seen many people who are usually focusing much on the darker side of the things and carry a very pessimistic approach. They mostly contemplate on their past that nothing went right with them, even their present becomes a hard to survive thing and the future to them looks bleak, and everything around appears awful and nothing seems to be getting straight for them.
Closely observing such despondent people,we notice that not only they are living in a constant state of stress but also make others much tense that ultimately affects their surroundings and people with such pessimistic approach.
However, still as we are aware that there are all kinds of people in a society. Its not only the sad ones existing rather there are also those who are not only lighthearted but are always ready to turn things up, always seeking the good, positive and even amusing in the worst of the situations. Such people are the ones who are blessed with what we call a sense of humour. They always find relief even in the most trying and serious phases which they make only possible by keeping their humorous side alive.
A person having a sense of humour stays away from petty persecutions,is able to bear with the trivial annoyances, and to deal with everything no matter how serious,in a cheerful manner ultimately affecting the environment and the people around in a good way.
It won’t be wrong to say that such people possess a clear insight about the inner value of things which is a great gift blessed to them. Its always encouraging to stay cool and calm even if things don’t go one’s way. Hence we all must take everything lightly, see the good things in life, must look ahead and don’t look back as one has to always remember
"Every day may not be good, but there's something good in every day"

Hi fpherj48...Thank you very much for your encouragement, appreciation, and, very kind comment. I am really pleased to know that you enjoyed reading the Hub. I can also relate with your feeling of being one of the light-hearted individuals as I also like to be one of those who can be "funny" with one another lol. :) Having a sense of humor ; a good one though, is something which I believe is very much needed and there is no other better feeling when you see someone who likes to laugh along with you :)
Staying optimistic is one of the things as well which I think solves more than half of the problems that frustrate or depress us sometimes. For that matter, once again a sense of humor holds a great value in our lives.
Thank you again for your appreciation for everything from my bio, style of writing and not to forget voting up and sharing too. You are always welcome to visit my hubs anytime whenever you feel like :)
Nice to meet you too. Have a blessed year ahead full of more laughter and fun :)

learner....As a fierce believer in the joy of learning, I had to visit your site...and I'm glad I did. I thoroughly enjoyed this hub, since I lean very much toward being a lover of humor, as well as learning!
I come from a long line of light-hearted individuals, who love to laugh and make others laugh. I think my entire family consists of amateur comedians and I'd have to confess, we're probably "funny" only to one another! lol.
I am an optimist and try to look at the brighter, lighter side of everything....choose my battles carefully and count to 10, several times a day!
I am impressed with your bio and love your style of writing. Nice to meet you, btw. I'll be back to read more!...UP and shared
