President Trump Loves America and Americans
President Trump loves America, and he loves Americans. That is what set him apart from our politicians. That and he had balls. An alpha male.
President Trump stood up to the America-hating Democrats. He stood up to the Deep State that thinks it ought to run our lives. He stood up to the lying News Media that has openly become nothing more than the propaganda arm of the Democrat Party. He told the truth about Antifa and Black Lives Matter: they are hate groups of communist, atheist terrorists—fascist black shirts and socialist brownshirts for the Democrat Party.
President Trump exposed how the Democrat Party had allied with Communist China to steal technology and wealth from America and take Heartland Americans' jobs. Trump stood up against the great evil of Political Correctness. He stanched the flow of illegal aliens from the Third World. He was and is fighting against the forces of darkness that are animated by the spirit of the Antichrist.
Saving the Lives of Babies
President Trump defunded 900 facilities that either perform or promote killing babies by demanding that companies in the abortion business operate their extermination mills in separate buildings from taxpayer-funded services. He stopped at least $60 million of taxpayer monies from being used to liquidate babies. He also put an end to Obama's policy of paying for abortions worldwide with American taxpayers' money.
President Trump proclaimed his love for the Free Exercise of Religion clause in the Constitution: “Right now, in a number of states, the laws allow a baby to be torn from his or her mother’s womb in the ninth month. It is wrong; it has to change. Today, I’m announcing that we have just issued a new proposal to protect conscience rights and religious freedoms of doctors, nurses, and other medical professionals.” Democrats were forcing health care personnel to participate in the slaughter.
President Trump strongly supported School Choice, enabling poor and middle-class Americans to send their children to charter or private schools. He also encouraged teaching schoolchildren what is good about America. He declared: “Our mission is to defend the legacy of America’s founding, the virtue of America’s heroes, and the nobility of the American character. We must teach our children the magnificent truth about our country. Our youth will be taught to love America with all of their heart and soul.”
I will be writing an article on this topic soon so we'll stop here.
President Trump lowered prescription drug prices for the first time in 51 years, gave Americans more choice in purchasing health insurance, promoted transparency in medical costs, and ended “surprise billing.” He signed into law “Right to Try,” which means the terminally ill can try experimental treatments; and legislation for childhood cancer research and treatment. Trump eliminated Obamacare taxes on people who do not want insurance. He also got rid of Obama’s Death Panels.
President Trump reformed medical care for veterans to improve their treatments, their choices, and employees' accountability. The VA fired thousands of substandard workers. Veterans were given the right to see private doctors. The number of Veterans who say they trust V.A. services increased 19 percent to 91 percent, an all-time high. Homelessness among veterans decreased by half as new programs found jobs for 40,000 formerly homeless veterans.
No president in recent times has fought against illegal immigration, as did President Trump. Most of his actions involved enforcing immigration laws long on the books that Obama had commanded be ignored, which is itself a violation of the law. Besides constructing a border wall and finally defending our southern border, Trump put an end to asylum fraud, stopped human smuggling traffickers, and significantly reduced the massive invasion of illegal aliens who were killing the job market for American citizens.
President Trump ended the notorious Obama program called "catch & release." It meant that anyone caught sneaking across our border was subsequently released to disappear into the interior of our country, here to stay. Trump ended Obama’s illegal directives that allowed people from Central and South America to claim refugee status without first applying for asylum in the "first safe country," Mexico. He also reversed years of ignoring the "public charge" law that denies immigration to people coming to become welfare recipients. Trump worked to keep terrorists, jihadists, and violent extremists out by establishing the National Vetting Center, which became the world's best visa screening system.
Trump also enforced immigrant sponsor laws that had been ignored. He fought against "birth tourism." He made illegal aliens ineligible for public housing. He implemented previously disregarded laws requiring removing those who had overstayed their visas or their “Temporary Protected Status.”
In the two years before President Trump took office, the amount of violent crime suffered by Americans had exploded by rates not seen since the 1990s. Obama had given criminals the green light, letting them know he was on their side. Murders were up 20%, rape 11%, and assault 10%. In the three years of Trump’s presidency before the Democrat Riots of 2020, violent crime, including murder, went down by 10%. There were 50,000 fewer robberies per year, 286,000 fewer burglaries, and property crime was down 9%. That may be one reason for the 2020 Democrat Riots. People had begun to feel safe again.
Race Relations Improved Greatly
Before the Democrat Riots of 2020, there had been a remarkable improvement in race relations and the status of minorities under President Trump. Again, this is a reason to riot for the Left. According to Gallup, before the riots, race relations had improved by 14%, and the status of minorities 9% since Trump took office. President Trump may have done more for Blacks than any president since Lincoln, who not coincidentally was the only president who was hated as much as Trump by Democrats.
Even the far left-wing atheist communist extreme extremist CNN commentator Van Jones applauded President Donald Trump for his work for the black community. "Donald Trump — and I get beat up by liberals every time I say this, but I'm gonna keep saying it — he has done good stuff for the black community," Jones said on CNN. "Opportunity zone stuff, black college stuff. I worked with him on criminal justice stuff. I saw Donald Trump have African American people, formerly incarcerated, in the White House — embraced them, treated them well. There's a side to Donald Trump that I think he does not get enough credit for."
Research done at the University of Pennsylvania regarding race relations during Trump's presidency found "declining prejudice and racial resentment, and certainly no increases. Anti-black prejudice dropped sharply among whites. That marked the lowest level of anti-black prejudice since we first conducted this study in 2008. Prejudice against Hispanics also dropped.”
President Trump inspired an across-the-board collapse of white supremacy. According to even the far left-wing extreme extremists at the SPLC, the Klan is now “on its last legs,” falling from more than 130 groups the day Trump was elected to only 51 today. Neo-Nazi groups have dropped under Trump from 121 chapters to nine. The SPLC reports skinhead groups are "dying out," falling from 138 cells to 63 during the Trump years.
I have previously written extensively on President Trump's pre-Covid Economic Miracle, so I will not belabor that issue here. Suffice it to say; Trump engineered the most dramatic economic recovery in our history, rejuvenated industry, rolled back punishing regulations, cut taxes, and established a national mood of optimism, opportunity, and success for millions of all social and economic levels.
President Trump waved his magic wand, and real median household income—the amount earned by those in the very middle—hit $68,703 in 2019—the highest ever; and a gain of $7,751 per year, or 7%. Black, White, Asian and Hispanic households all saw an increase in median household income. Trump also lowered your taxes, particularly for married couples, and caused the stock market to rise to record levels 100 times, dramatically increasing tens of millions of citizens' retirement accounts.
As J.B. Shurk wrote in American Thinker: “Trump exposed how the silent destruction of towns across the Midwest came not from China's comparative advantage, but American companies' use of slavery by proxy. He has redirected investment away from Wall Street and toward Main Street for the first time in over thirty years and has unleashed three decades' worth of pent-up entrepreneurial energy in the very towns long deemed dead. Not one Nobel laureate imagined this American renaissance of GDP and stock market surge, record-low unemployment, wage growth, and low inflation in one bubbling cauldron. It took a change agent.”
Under President Trump, over four million people, and more than a million children, were lifted out of poverty. Poverty levels hit a record low in 2019. The poverty rate was 10.5%, the lowest ever recorded, with minority groups seeing the largest decreases in poverty.
Americans Were Happy
Before the Democrat Riots, and one cause of them, Americans reported feeling “better off” than they did in the past four presidents' reelection years. A record 61% said they were better off than they were when Trump was elected. Satisfaction with the economy was up from 46 to 68%; satisfaction with national security from terrorism up from 50 to 68%; satisfaction with our military up from 68 to 81%, since his election.
By double digits, Americans said that under Trump, they had "more opportunity to get ahead,” were “more satisfied about income distribution,” and were pleased with “policies to reduce or control crime.” In fact, in zero categories did Americans say things were worse. All of that signaled a Trump landslide unless Democrats took drastic measures, such as using a biological weapon on our populace, nationwide rioting by Democrats, and lockdowns of our economy by Democrat governors.
Tax Cuts & Deregulation
The Tax Cuts & Jobs Act was the most sweeping tax reform bill in history. It cut personal taxes, business taxes and eliminated the death tax—used to steal the inheritance left to children by their parents. Over $1.5 trillion flowed back into the country that had been held offshore. Millions of Americans received higher wages, benefits, and bonuses after Trump cut business taxes, which had been the highest globally. Over 400 large corporations announced new investments and new hiring for their companies. Small business creation, expansion, and success exploded after taking advantage of new tax laws designed specifically for them. Before the Covid lockdowns, the total wealth of the top 1% shrank. Simultaneously, the bottom half of American households increased their wealth—a good reason for the rich, Big Tech, and giant corporations to support riots and lockdowns.
The Trump administration had declared to the federal bureaucracy that cutting two must precede any new regulation. Instead, the Trump administration cut EIGHT regulations for each new one enacted—something that had never happened in history. Hundreds of regulations, hundreds of pages long, were cut that had been written by trial lawyers, banks, health insurance firms, Big Tech, Big Pharma, and other giant conglomerates to strangle the small businessman in a morass of red tape he couldn't even understand, nonetheless comply with. Twenty-five thousand pages were removed from the Federal Registry. American businesses and consumers saved $370 billion per year as a result.
When President Trump pulled the U.S. out of the Paris Climate Accords, Democrats screamed he would kill the planet. But a funny thing happened on the way to Doomsday: Greenhouse gas emissions dropped 3% in Trump’s first year! And continued to fall from there due to technological breakthroughs in the private sector, not the heavy hand of government.
The Trump Administration has proven that federal regulations are not necessary to drive CO2 reductions. The United States led the world in reducing carbon emissions ever since the election of President Trump - far ahead of the next most environmentally friendly country. Strangely enough, Canada, Spain, the European Union, and China — all signatories to the Accords — saw significant increases in carbon dioxide emissions. Our air became 7% cleaner and is five times cleaner than the world average.
Also, more ground pollution sites were cleaned up than had been in 20 years. The Save Our Seas Act will clean the litter out of the ocean. The Great American Outdoors Act represents the largest investment ever into our National Parks. And the One Trillion Trees Initiative will plant and conserve trees in our country and abroad.
One of President Trump's primary projects was to make America energy independent by unleashing the entrepreneurial spirit of the American businessman. In September 2019, we startlingly exported more oil and gas than we imported for the first time in history. The lowest gas prices in a dozen years for the average Joe followed. And not just for cars, for homes heated by natural gas as well. The average American family saved $2,500 per year. As Stuart Varney said, "The United States is now the number one producer of oil and natural gas in the world. And there's nobody even close. In the Trump era, America became the big player in the energy world." President Trump did not neglect solar and wind power either. Under his watch, electricity generated by solar doubled, and by wind increased 32%.
Whereas the previous administration was determined to yield national sovereignty to the United Nations, and to pretty much any other international organization that might want it, President Trump put an abrupt stop to it. He not only saved hundreds of thousands of jobs and trillions of dollars by pulling us out of the world wealth redistribution scheme of the Paris Accords, but he also stopped the U.N. from imposing gun control on America by pulling us out of the Small Arms Treaty; got us out of the Global Migration Pact, which Obama utilized to bring unvetted illegal aliens into our country; and out of the Palestinian Refugee Organization, which is a front to finance terrorism.
Trade Deals and Buy American
President Trump entered office with a strange idea: American trade policy should benefit Americans! He quickly got us out of the TPP and negotiated a new and better agreement to replace NAFTA. Trump also signed an order making it an official federal policy to Buy American and Hire American. That would stop jobs from being outsourced to foreign countries and stop importing foreign workers to take American jobs here. In addition, he negotiated 50 separate trade deals with other countries around the globe to increase exports of our agricultural products.
Trump reached a historic deal with China. It agreed to stop pirating and counterfeiting our goods and stop stealing our trade secrets, trademarks, and patents. Trump directed our entire government to prevent China from stealing our intellectual property, inventions, and innovations.
According to a Gallup Poll in 2019, more Americans said their country had a positive image around the planet than at any time since 2003. In Hong Kong and Taiwan, those yearning to be free do not carry pictures of Macron of France or Merkel of Germany, but President Trump photo-shopped as Rocky Balboa. Freedom fighters from Iran to Venezuela whisper his name. Nigerian Christians turned to him to help them survive Islamic terrorists bent on genocide.
The Trump administration conducted the first-ever drug busts of major Chinese traffickers distributing fentanyl in the United States and convinced China to enact strict regulations to control the production and sale of fentanyl.
He coerced NATO countries to pay their fair share to defend Europe. He got North Korea to stop launching missiles toward Japan and threatening us. Trump is the first president since the 1950s not to send us off into a new war.
Iran, ISIS & Terrorism
When President Trump took office, ISIS held 17,500 square miles of territory. Within one year, Trump cut that down to 1,930 square miles. ISIS lost its last bit of territory in 2019. ISIS had murdered around 20,000 innocent civilians during its bloody reign of terror, with perhaps as many enslaved, mostly as sex slaves, and millions made homeless. Trump freed eight million people from ISIS control. He also became the first president to address an assembly of 50 Muslim nations, with whom he forged an agreement to fight all species of terrorism.
President Trump canceled the Iran deal made by his processor, a disaster that Pelosi called "a diplomatic masterpiece." It was a horrible thing that gave Iran $150 billion, which Obama acknowledged Iran would probably use to finance terrorism. It allowed Iran to keep 5,000 nuclear centrifuges, with which it could make atomic bombs. It allowed Iran to purchase weapons, but only from China or Russia. Obama did not require Iran to renounce terrorism or acknowledge Israel's right to exist; Obama called that "unrealistic."
Trump Stood by Israel
President Trump became the first president to visit the Western Wall in Jerusalem. He moved our embassy there, officially acknowledging Jerusalem as the capital city of Israel. Trump brokered Middle East peace deals between Israel and four Muslim countries, for which he was nominated three times for the Nobel Peace Prize. Prime Minister Netanyahu told the president: “Israel has never had a better friend than you.”
Trump Exposed the Deep State
Having investigated and revealed the Deep State in a previous article, I will not go into detail about that now. We can say that President Trump exposed the Deep State to the American people for what they are: arrogant bureaucrats who believe themselves above the law and entitled to run our country - if not the world - without interference from the Chief Executive or Congress, and certainly not from We the People. For all of us, Trump revealed how utterly corrupt are the FBI, CIA, NSA, DOJ, IRS, and Democrat Party.
I plan to write a full-length article about the Virus soon. For now, we can note the highlights of President Trump’s response to it, what John Perazzo called "One of the most impressive demonstrations of political leadership in living memory."
In January 2020, within eight days of the first confirmed case of the Virus in the U.S., President Trump formed the White House Coronavirus Task Force. No Democrats paid any attention to the Virus, being caught up in their phony impeachment hearings, trying to overthrow our government. Trump declared a public health emergency and banned travel from China, the origin of the virus, a move that Beijing Biden called "racist, hysterical, xenophobic fear-mongering."
Meanwhile, Democrat leaders across the country urged Americans to party down, ride the crowded subways, and especially go to jam-packed Chinatowns because there was nothing to fear. Those same leaders would soon claim it was Trump who didn't fear the virus enough at first.
Dr. Anthony Fauci, a lead member of the Coronavirus Task Force and the highest-paid person in our government as Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, praised Trump's reaction in March, saying: "The very timely decision on the part of the President to shut off travel from China had absolutely gone a long way toward limiting the number of coronavirus infections in the U.S. We did it early.” Trump’s “Coordinated response to the crisis has been impressive. I can't imagine that, under any circumstances, anybody could be doing more,” Fauci said. And he added, “President Trump has never overruled me” about following the science.
There are multitudes of other extraordinary accomplishments of President Trump's four years. He stopped the Democrat War on Christianity and Christmas. He fought the Opioid Crisis, Cruelty to Animals, Anti-Semitism, and Autism. He launched nationwide Apprentice Programs. He commanded that Free Speech must be allowed in public universities that receive taxpayer funds.
In closing, I would like to quote some of my favorite writers:
“The Republican National Convention was inspirational and wholesome, its Make America Great Again message showcasing myriad speakers – ordinary citizens – sharing how the MAGA spirit uplifted and transformed their lives. President Trump’s reelection campaign showcased optimism and insuperable energy. His rallies, several per day, several days per week, had veritable walking cities of citizens flocking to and filling stadiums and arenas. His supporters’ car and boat parades were marvels in themselves.” (Dale A. Fitzgibbons)
"Trump voters are right that a country, by definition, needs enforceable borders. They're right that the culture is turning against devoutly religious people, especially devout Jews and Christians. They're right that the media hates them. They're right that the government is too all-powerful and used at the Left's behest to harm those who disagree ideologically. They're right that individual rights are getting lost in the corporate and government consolidated power." (Melissa MacKenzie)
"What really upset the elite about President Trump was that average Americans were beginning to believe in themselves. Their wages were rising for the first time in decades, and they felt proud to be restoring America to what it could be. For four years, those everyday Americans were treated like something special, listened to, moved to the front of the line. Trump rallies were exciting because they were primarily a celebration of the rise of the real America — of those who get up five mornings a week to an alarm clock, start the car in the cold, drive to work in the dark, put in eight or ten hours, come back to football on T.V. in a two-bedroom apartment, bathe and sleep, and do it again and again. On weekends, they coach and volunteer and attend church and care for family and neighbors. Only Reagan and Trump put ordinary Americans first.” (Jeffrey Folks)
"President Trump showed Americans what it means to be a courageous and principled leader; to publicly and clearly articulate his principles -- without euphemism or deception -- and then fight for them in the political arena. He reminded us what it is like to have a president who genuinely loves his country and cannot be intimidated into submission or silence by his critics. Such individuals are exceedingly rare. Donald Trump was a magnificent president, and there are many millions of us who will always, always understand that." (John Perazzo)
“In gauging scores in sports like diving and figure skating, judges factor in a ‘degree of difficulty.’ No president since Lincoln has labored under a higher degree of difficulty than Trump. I cannot recall seeing a positive headline in any major media during the duration of his presidency. The fact that America’s most beautiful and stylish first lady never made it onto the cover of a magazine suggests just how monolithic was the opposition.” (Jack Cashill)

Oscar Jones ~ Thank you for coming back by with your additional comments. As you said so well: "The preponderance of evidence bears down on the facts that previous democratic party praise of rioting, looting and violence inspired certain rougher elements on the fringes of the Trump rally to take initiatives unforeseen by the Republican campaign or rally organizers."
James A Watkins (author) from Chicago on February 04, 2021:
Vivian Coblentz ~ It is always a pleasure to see you have visited. Many volumes will be written about the accomplishments of President Trump. Thank you for your kind compliments on my work. And yes, you are right that one of the best things about Trump was that he kept his promises.
I love the way you put this: “Dems hate America, and their "America Last" agenda is aimed at destroying our country....intentionally...to usher in socialism/communism/globalism. They are truly satanically inspired.”
I agree 100%. And you are absolutely right that “Sometimes God uses a great shaking to bring about a Great Awakening.” Let us hope and pray that one of those times is coming to our land. God bless you and yours.
Oscar Jones from Monroeville, Alabama on February 03, 2021:
The preponderance of evidence bears down on the facts that previous democratic party praise of rioting, looting and violence inspired certain rougher elements on the fringes of the Trump rally to take initiatives unforeseen by the Republican campaign or rally organizers. Last year's violent nation-wide democratic escapades pre-empted the capitol intrusion, un-be-knownst at the time by Republicans, including departing President Donald Trump. (I will just leave this with ya.) legal defense to a rooster style impeachment trial.
James A Watkins (author) from Chicago on February 03, 2021:
Oscar Jones ~ I sure appreciate you reading my article. I enjoyed your astute observations on it. As you noted, "Apparently the Democrats are still obsessed with their fear of being exposed. ... President Trump must of really got to them!" That's right. This new impeachment reminds of when the Catholics dug up a pope who had been dead for seven months to put his corpse on trial.
James A Watkins (author) from Chicago on February 03, 2021:
Mr Archer ~ Thank you much for taking the time to read my article. I am so glad you liked it.
James A Watkins (author) from Chicago on February 03, 2021:
T ~ Thank you for the visitation. I appreciate you reading my work and your comments on it, with which I agree. As you say, "There is no way anyone aware of the accomplishments you have listed for president Trump would vote for the likes of Biden and Harris. This election had to be stolen, there is no other honest or rational explanation for the ridiculous results of the 2020 election! Half the country isn’t that stupid!"
James A Watkins (author) from Chicago on February 02, 2021:
WillStarr ~ It is great to 'see' you here. Thank you for taking the time to read my article. I know it is a long one. That means a lot was accomplished! I want to quote your important comments in part because they bear repeating:
"The Democrat Party's base is the dependent class. The Democrats haven't won the self-sufficient, rugged-American vote since 1964 ... But once a dependent class becomes independent, they will no longer need or want the Democrat Party, so the dependents must remain forever dependent if the Democrats are to stay in power."
Vivian Coblentz on February 02, 2021:
Wow! Truly, Trump did SO MUCH on his "America First" agenda that there's no way you could actually write about the massive volume of accomplishments. You did a great job highlighting the most important feats. Another important point is that he KEPT HIS PROMISES--something most politicians don't do once elected. Your line here summarized where we are: "All of that signaled a Trump landslide unless Democrats took drastic measures, such as using a biological weapon on our populace, nationwide rioting by Democrats, and lockdowns of our economy by Democrat governors." Clearly, Dems hate America, and their "America Last" agenda is aimed at destroying our country....intentionally...to usher in socialism/communism/globalism. They are truly satanically inspired. I think the only good thing coming out of the Biden dictatorship is showing blind Americans the light. Even if you hated Trump, his policies put Americans first and made our lives better and safer. It has also exposed the corruption at all levels of government. Sometimes God uses a great shaking to bring about a Great Awakening. Trump isn't finished. I fully expect God to move in such a miraculous and spectacular way that things will suddenly turn around for good. It's just going to be a rocky ride!
Oscar Jones from Monroeville, Alabama on February 01, 2021:
Apparently the Democrats are still obsessed with their fear of being exposed. They are going to try to impeach the man they already impeached. I wonder how many of them will vote to impeach him after he's buried and gone? Gosh, President Trump must of really got to them! I'm willing to have him run again just to see the Democrats cry and squeal and pea their pants.
Mr Archer from Missouri on February 01, 2021:
James, as always you present a well thought out and extremely defensible conversation for us to think on.
WillStarr from Phoenix, Arizona on February 01, 2021:
The Democrat Party's base is the dependent class. The Democrats haven't won the self-sufficient, rugged-American vote since 1964, so they court the minorities.
But once a dependent class becomes independent, they will no longer need or want the Democrat Party, so the dependents must remain forever dependent if the Democrats are to stay in power. That's why the Democrats have no interest in elevating anyone out of poverty and into mainstream America. Keep them Godless, ignorant, barefoot, and out-of-wedlock pregnant.
